What are some quality of life mods you have added and noticed improvements on? Or on the other hand, some that might want to be avoided. I kind of want heated seats but I am not sure if it is worth it. Also looking for other ideas.

For mine, I replaced the stock shifter with the hurst core short shifter, then replaced the hurst knob with a sick speed bigger knob. Got rid of the stock am fm CD player replaced with a touch screen with blue tooth, back up camera, better speakers. Aftermarket coded security system. Windows tint. Sticky tires. All well suited to me.

Yours, it depends what you plan to use it for. If it’s for commuting, being able to pair the phone to the touchscreen is a plus. Hands free phone, and text. Google maps, Waze, pandora, xm, all great for commuting. Tint is great to reduce sun glare and if you glance to the side, you don’t get shot at for mad dogging a gang banger.

For me sound deadening helps every time I drive the truck. After a long day of running power equipment it is nice to have a quiet ride home.
Anytime fog lights. It's nice to be able to run high beams with fogs on which helps when your driving on country roads at night with lots of deer.
Those are two things that come to mind.
I cant comment on heated seats since I dont have them.

Yes sound deadening. I do wish I had done it when I got new speakers. When the speakers hit just right it sounds a little like a coffee can with nails being shaken.

For me just deadening the truck helped with the factory sound quality. I'm thinking about doing tweeters but I'm not that serious about sound quality.

It is a mod that allows you to turn your fog lights on anytime the trucks on. Doing this allows you to turn your high beams on without turning off your fog lights.

Sticky tires grab the asphalt better, soft sticky rubber. So you can take a turn faster, at the expense of having to replace them sooner, they don’t last as long.

Michelin Defender LTX tires. On certain asphalt roads, it feels like you're gliding along on air.
