hood adhesive issue

    I just bought a 2020 and it has this issue. It's black do you really notice it flutter. I went through Mike's car wash today and thought the the dryer fans at the end were going to buckle the damn thing. I was thinking silicone adhesive but need to research if the silicone will have an adverse effect on the paint over time.

    Lots more info in this thread. You will want to use 3M NVH. It's the adhesive made for this purpose.

    My 2020 hood had this problem. Dealer took it to body shop for proper glue reapplication. Has been fine ever since phew

    Dealer tried to reglue it and didn't work. Replaced hood under warranty. 2020 with a Nov 2019 build date. It fluttered like no other.

    This worked for me. Even matched my cement color really well.
