Just ordered same off Amazon. A lot of the reviews seem mixed. Some come in damaged (i.e. scratches, scrapes). Others have come in perfectly fine. So I'm a little apprehensive about these. Guess I'll find out on Friday.

Okay that makes sense. I'll debate about that, I'd hate not to have easy access to the stuff in the back of the bed when out camping with the tent mounted.

Not enough bandwidth on the internet to list.
@ETBA Bottom pic of your rig....looks nice! Wheel color works, too! As well as the RSI cap. I may spring for one of those when things settle down with availability.

I'm putting matte gunmetal TRD Pros on my rig Friday morning.

Custom, only one ever designed and built interiors, heavily welded frame, all sharp metal turned bed rack and a roof top I made for $75. Power pedal, injen intake system, cat delete, summit racing brake proportioning valve controlled on the fly, slightly adjusted or perhaps unrecognizable ECM, built in under bed storage, high clearance rear built with 1/4" on a 6011 1/8" rod at 120 amps, 360 degrees of led light, a PA and CB, on board air, on board propane (to cook food), on board fridge made from an old red bull fridge found on some guys man cave built into the storage cubby under the back seat, imported tranny and clutch from a good friend over in Europe to replace this aisin junk we get, combined 32 gallons fuel capacity, 18 5 gallons of water storage, built in gun locker under RTT, and all it cost was to hear the wife ramble on about upset neighbors at 2 in the morning every night since I bought that damn truck..
    Heck yeah! Thanks man!

Lol idk why it looks that way. Every side pic is like that for some reason. It's gotta be my phone. Either that or maybe the truck was stretched like a dodge mega cab

When it's time for brakes I will also be doing stainless lines. Any plans for the rear disc conversion?

I like that head unit. I also just got the OEM audio 500 upgrade today. I like it, but have some tweaking to do. Some bass is better than others, but it's expected with an 8" woofer. Definitely an improvement. If you have not seen it, here is the OEM audio thread:

It took a few tries to get mine to work, but it's definitely nice not having the remote on the visor

eh my truck doesn't fit in the garage. I rarely even open it with the remote. but the remote does help hold the placard I need for my daughter's pick up line at school.

Yeah but I'm lazy and it's much cooler to just drive up and the garage door opens up automatically when it notices my truck is coming with the tailwind garage system.

If your truck has the auto dim feature in the mirror then it's already prewired for home link. Just pick one up off of eBay for like $60 bucks and it's plug and play.

Hey how have your shackles held up? Are they worth the price? With those and the isolators its like 130 but I figure better then buying $65 ones twice

It’s more than enough for me. My last few rides had the premium audio (Bose, Harmon, etc.) and this is on par if not just a little better. Either way it’s miles above the stock system and I probably won’t use but 50% of it.

I think mine is just a dumb mirror. No electronics at all. Well, itg does have the little flipper you use when the asshole behind you has his high beams on.

Could also hook your reverse lights to a separate switch to handle the same asshole.

Yes, it will get dusty but now you can wipe off the dust and not leave 37 pinstripes across the face of the display.
