That is correct. I guess if its before noon in my time zone I will try and keep it light, but ya never know how that goes when in the desert, mistakes are sometimes made when doing those types of calculations. ;)

Were those the runs where I was outrunning the group in my Jeep and Matt was screaming over his radio for me to slow down, lol.

Wasn't that the night in Ocotillo when we all went out to camp near the opening of Fish Creek? I remember we all took off in the dead of night and I almost killed myself by nearly going over a gigantic dune and stopping at the last moment. Very fun times back then.

Anyone have advice on how to remove OME882 springs from a OME shock? Seems all the compressors are too big to get in between the coils, shops included.

Alternatively, anyone have some stock first gen coils/top hats?

    EDIT: Nevermind finally got em!

Good to know in the future, apparently most shops DONT have a mounted one...

Probably wont make the run this time, still got some stuff to wrap up on the truck, but if I get it done that would be a good maiden run

Oh bummer, well maybe next time! And yeah just let me know bud, mine should be able to compress just about anything you need.

Yes, there was water in Fish Creek... or at least a lot of really wet mud!
I hate mud, so I turned around and drove along the gypsum mine railroad tracks to a sandy place for us to crash for the night. I was with two guys who lived in the same apartment complex in San Marcos, as I did. Their Tacoma was not drivable so I invited them to ride in mine. My old brain prevents me from recalling the Tacoma World names, sorry! They were Marines and I saw one at Speed Freek's previous location, later getting some accessory installed.

I just don’t understand who in their right mind would pay that for a 28 year old vehicle. Maybe if it had 100k miles.

Hey, our Toyotas hold their value!! LOL
Hmmmm... What is my 2010 Tacoma Off Road TRD 4x4 DC, with only 130,000 miles, worth? Maybe more than I paid for it?? LOL

I think they are like the new "modern classic" car kinda thing. Like the last generation of real mechanical trucks and SUVs before everything went super electronic. Look at jeep wagoneer's, minimum of 30 years old and people are paying 20k+ for rusted out bodies with clapped out 130hp motors. Same in the "90s sports cars" market, fox body mustangs for nothing less than 5k for a beat one. Just the new market unfortunately, wish it was so.

Edit: theres also the whole "overland" craze that I blame everyone for wanting a toyota or subaru so they can look super cool on instagram
