2022 Tacoma Trail Edition 4×4

I guess we are in a delivery slump here. Hopefully I’m next…Salesman target the 5th for pickup but could be sooner. I saw my Toyota app showed it was driven twice today, not even registering a full mile..that tells me it may have gotten loaded on a truck!

 

We may be in a truck delivery slump, but I did get something special delivered today.

Wow, didn’t plan this, but my truck got here today! I’m doing everything I can to pick it up today after work since my sales guy is off wednesday and I’d have to wait until Thursday otherwise. I’ll post pics!

so I spoke to both the salesman and the manager today and got the vspec sheet. Both of them promised me the truck will be in by the 24th or before. He gave me the temporary vin and told me I’d have the actual vin 7-10 days before it arrives. He assured me he’s not pulling my leg and won’t be stalling once the 24th gets here, and I will have my truck by the 24th. He told me with his last 2 truck sales one guy waited a total of 45 days and the other guy got his in 15 days. So I’ll keep my fingers crossed

 

Here’s a teaser until tomorrow…drove off well past dark so no good photos right now but took this while it was being detailed.

I wanna say it looks so good in person! The stance of the wheels and lift are incredible and straight from factory. Army Green will go down as one of the best colors ever imo.

Everyone at the dealer was blown away. You probably won’t see many of these and they just look special. Free to answer any questions if needed to.

 

Really is the best color with the wheels especially between all the trail editions.

What are your plans with the truck? Mods or keep it stock?

 

beauuuutiful!!!! i cant wait to get my Army Green Sport 4x4 at the end of this month. I ALMOST got the Trail Edition, but I went with the Sport bcuz of the hood, the fog lights and the color (Army Green). The TE I had the chance to get was black. I'm still kind of second guessing my decision, but I'm trying not to think about it too much

 

My plan is to keep it completely stock! I probably would’ve gotten an SR5 if I was planning to make it my own, but I just love how the TE looks and I like the idea of it looking like a showroom floor truck in 5 years.

However, I will be doing little things like maybe different H11 bulbs, and DEFINITELY taking that air dam off tomorrow morning!!!

One of the salespeople had just traded in their LR TRD Pro and when my truck came in I think they were super jealous that it already sold haha.

I’m sure you’ll love it man! Being on the forum for me honestly has made me constantly second-guess myself, but once I saw it in person and got in it, it’s perfect for me. Sure it may not have all the luxuries that the nicer ones do, but I’m coming from a 10-year-old car so this is a huge upgrade for me. And at the end of the day I have a truck now and there’s a ton of people waiting a long time for one that may never come. Getting something in this day and age is a win in and of itself so just be proud of what you chose and just know the color alone is worth it, it truly is special in person. I was parked next to an AG sport and it was amazing.

 

Can't wait to actually see one without the air damn.

Also curious how you like the ride with the trail lift?

An old co-worker/friend got a new Trail this week. He lives in NC. and I'm talking him into the KDMAX Pro tune, trying to get him to drive up so I can see the truck and to get the tune. I also talked to him briefly about the truck and he said his didn't have the air dam and he said it rides like his 18 Sport that he traded. He said he paid sticker and got a great price on it.

 

Is there a 12-pin connection on the back of the rearview mirror?
