In case of any unforeseen accidents that happen. Had my close share of a few that were not at my fault by any means. The dashcam will confirm that for any legal or insurance purposes.

I have heard of reputable companies including garmin, nexar, rove.

I have a (roav), but they seem to be no longer continued.

here is another one with decent revviews
    https://www.amazon.com/R2-4K-Dashbo...qid=1644466156&sprefix=dashcam,aps,145&sr=8-3

just an example, nothing that you "have to get".

    Viofo. Blackvue. Thinkware.

I have a Viofo A139 and I got my family the T139. Straight forward, can view everything from the app in a pinch. But I think the more expensive Blackvue's offer cloud support. All three options can use external battery packs from BlackBoxMyCar.com and all three offer parking modes. If you are doing it, get something in 4k. Really helps with license plates - which are still almost impossible to read sometimes. Always read them out loud if possible.

To add onto this always make sure when you start up in the morning the dash cam turns on. Last week I was driving my wife's Jeep to work and a guy blew a light and t-boned me. I was sitting pretty because I have a dash cam in it and because it was -6°F out that morning the camera didn't turn on. I'm not worried about assigning fault to the accident due to the nature of the damages, but it would be 10x easier if the GD camera worked.

I do like the style you have because you can manually turn it if need be. That's a very nice feature. And hey, even a $30 dash cam is better than nothing ;) That's what I rocked for the longest time.

I have a similar purchasing process. I would rather pay Amazon a dollar more than drive to a brick & mortar store to buy an item.

In the sixities, many people hated the Sears catalog because it swayed people from buying at an independent local store and today many people do not like Amazon for the same reason.

I am. Sick of getting hit, though. It managed to fit the entirety of the accident solely into the door itself. Like, bolt a new color-matched door on and you wouldn’t know there was an accident. There might be a 1/4” scuff on the front door that would buff out. It’s fully drivable, just ugly.

Dude claimed ice, I don’t buy it.

Not even ashamed to admit it… although my boss and a few buddies give me hell about it.

Idk why but I was CONSTANTLY dropping my phone in the crack of the seat… and every single vehicle I ever owned it wasn’t hard to fish out when I did it, but with my 3rd gen it was a royal pain. So I decided to remedy that issue. CD6AA12C-292B-4AD3-ADD4-D4D9442F3196.jpg

This revtek light bar mount and cheap light bar from Amazon has held up pretty well for the last 3 years. Definitely one of my favorite mods.

Does it work? I have a bad habit of eating on long drives a d I dropped a Frito down there. Couldn't fish it out to save my life no matter what angle I went from. Ended up removing the seat and made some amp adjustments while I was there lol.

That stupid e brake is a catch all too. There is like 40lbs of excess pleather there.

Dash cam cuts both ways. It can also prove you were at fault.

The police came to the house today for a "welfare check" said my Amazon driver was worried about us since we haven't ordered anything in a couple of days:spending:

This side mirror led turn signal kit was $23 last summer so I took a shot. They were surprisingly decent quality and haven’t had any issues.

Later, my brother paid almost $70 from one of the popular vendors and he got the identical kit. Same sticker on outside box, same Chinese markings, same tool included, same instructions.

Yeah, honestly, it works really well. I’m happy with them and not even upset that I bought into some “as seen on TV” gimmicky type BS. I do agree about the ebrake area. Glad to see I’m not the only one with that issue. It’s a catch all and def the filthiest area every time I go to clean the inside of my truck. Kind of a hard area to clean thoroughly too. Anyways, yeah, happy with the ‘Drop Stop.’ Would buy again…
