    Hi Everyone!
Ive had my 07 Crew cab long bed for about a year. I was given an 3 gallon air tank and 2 compressors from a friend who was getting rid of stuff. Anyone able to mount the tank under the bed without relocating the Spare tire? I was thinking by the gas tank possibly since there is some room by there. Any advice appreciated.

I've been holding off on mounting an air tank because of this very question... searching the forums for subjects like OBA and such, there have been folks that were successful in mounting it directly in front of the spare tire between the tire and bumper.. Some have been able to put it behind the spare tire. I've not yet decided where I'm going to mount mine yet. I've seen some fullsize trucks mount them in a bed tool box as well.

The same shit everyone else has.
I plan on mounting one along the frame rail on the driver side in front of the gas tank at some point.

    Boosted Money Pit....
Mine is mounted behind the rear bumper. May not work if you still run a spare but its a good spot.I have a 5 Gallon there. I can find a photo later. its a SB but would be the same likely for either bed.

Thank you i was trying to find a thread like this but for some reason could find it.!

Thank You! did you ever put the spare back on to see if it would fit? What is clearance like between the tank and the rear axle? Any concerns for hitting?

I currently have a small Amazon one there now. I like it but it decided to stop working. Id like to move the tank outside due to having a baby and dont want to have 2 loud compressors going on in the truck. I'm also going to run breather pipes to somewhere with a filter for each of the compressors so no need to worry about dirt/mud getting into the compressor.

The spare tire fit just fine with about a 1/2-inch clearance between the tire and the tank.
