I've had wheelskins on for a couple of years now and I'm glad I chose them.
I took the time to disassemble and glad i did. Not hard at all. Just take your time. Patience is the key. The leather is great quality and has a soft feel to it. In time the leather molds into your hands to have that perfect grip when broken in like a baseball glove.
I've had several vehicles that I kept for over ten years with no wheel coverings and they have worn out and degraded to its rubber layer.
Overall, I'm very satisfied I did it and the comfort that you get from years of driving.

    Oh look, another mod....
I have heard it's worth it. With the rise of them being stolen, it's a great theft deterrent. The difference (from what I've read) between this and the CBI/RCI armor is: It has wings on the side designed to specifically protect and cover the catalytic converter; thus making it a lot more difficult to cut the cat and yank it off.

The CBI/RCI Armor is just a long flat plate running under your truck. The cat is still exposed and can easily be cut.

(Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this).

I have them and find them handy. You may need to use 3M tape to replace what the manufacturer uses to attach them.

Cheaper on Amazon (pilot and copilot sides sold separately)

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08TR7VZ2Q?ie=UTF8&th=1

and even cheaper on AliExpress (again, sides sold separately)

Finished winterizing my truck. Added my block heater and transmission pan heater, so now I have those plus the oil pan heater and battery maintainer routed to a 4 way outlet box I installed near the fuse box.

there were some holes in the fender from the factory that just so happened to be the same size as the bolts I took off the factory splash guards I took off when I installed the TRD Pro skid plate. That made finding the right size bolt and washer easy.

i took the box apart and drilled a hole through it, bolted it to the fender with some blue locktite and put everything back together, then routed the cord out through the front bumper.

Now when I plug in at work my truck should be a lot happier when I start it up at -35.

I have that same cat armor you installed and it does the job as a theft deterrent. However, on the offraod part and when it matters most clearing obstacles, it would not hold up and would cave in and with weight, tension on the bolts, they would pop out or come loose. Since it's made of alloy, it would not hold up when the weight of your truck would go over a rock, logs, hill mounds, etc. My cat armor caved in and was up against the catalytic and transmission surrounding area.. I wished I took a pic of it..

I replaced it with the RCI STEEL transmission skid plate. I really wanted the cat armor to work for offroad and wanted to see if the cat armor would hold up to offroading, clearing sketchy areas where you would need skid plates. Unfortunately it did not. My test and .02 cents..

With RCI full skid plates, It would also make it difficult to fit an angle grinder or saws-all in that catalytic area to cut. But soon I will have a flare to cover the sides. I sold (practically gave) my cat armor to a Taco owner who wroks in the city in a rat and thieves infested area.

    Oh look, another mod....

I thought about getting a full skid plate from RCI or CBI, but the ones I saw still exposed the Catalytic converter. When I zoomed in on the picture, it looked pretty easy to touch it, cut it out and yank it out.

The Cat-Security plate that I ordered isn't a very thick metal like the RCI/CBI (They use thicker steel for hard wheelin'). I don't wheel that hard. But the plate does completely enclose the cat.

I know nothing is 100%. If the thieves really want it, they'll take the time to steal it. But this is a great deterrent. I'm hoping they'll see it, say "Nah, it'll take longer than 2minutes. Lets go find another truck that's easier."...then they move on and I keep all my shit!

It's getting installed next Saturday, so I'll post a lot of pictures then.

60° for the first time in 4 months. So I installed my license plate/reverse light bypass harness from FBC, and my R4T tailgate lock. Both were really easy to install. Plug and play.

ARE topper. Mud guards, factory steps, third bed rail behind cab, tacorail accessory holder, ram mount tablet mount, hood wrap and retro stripes. Bug shield and window shields. Molle seat cover on tear seat.
Sorry it took so long JJ04TACO. Here is a pic of the back of the removable radio face. I have a TACORAIL attached to the trim. It's made to prefit the space there, and my phone is from 67 mounts. The ram mounts are a little to big for the slot, so I used one that I could use a couple of nuts and bolts to attach to the tacorail.

I used a ram mount ball with the square base and 4 holes to attache to the back of the mount by drill 4 small holes and self tapping screws. Then used a short attachment between it and the dash mount.

With this setup, I can lock my glove box and the face is removable like a car stereo. I just slide it off the backing and take with me.

The face is 5.5 inches wide X 2.3 inches deep. The main is 5.5 wide by 7 inches deep because of the rear heat sink on the radio.

    Hope this helps.

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
I suggest using Velcro to attach those side compartments. That way if you need to remove the top centre console in order to perhaps upgrade the shift knob that has wires coming out of it you can easily re-attach them.
