    I'm SO STOKED to have disabled my door-open chime when the key is in the acc position. Thanks to JPMorrisvb for the awesome link. It's so easy & took maybe 15 minutes, most of that was just being careful not to damage anything;
    http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2643003&postcount=27

    The only thing I'd recommend is that you don't have to move the top half of the steering column cover. You don't even need to fully remove the lower half, just pull it down a few inches & it's easy to pop out the sensor/plug. There's tiny tab at the front of the plug (facing toward front of truck) that only needs a light squeeze & it pops right out. Voila, no more annoying door chime/buzzer with the key in the ACC position.
    This really should be a Cheap Mod/DIY sticky on here.

    I did this yesterday, and consider it to be a qualified success. Successful in that once the initial seat belt fastening chime times out (or upon buckling of the seat belt), it doesn't chime again. In other words, you can then unbuckle the seat belt and it won't chime...only the idiot light will be illuminated on the instrument cluster. But if one turns the key on, without buckling up, it will still chime.

    I used a Scion LED enhancement kit. 2 Amber LEDs in the cup holders, the illumination bar under the front seats to light up rear floor, and just the led heads velcroed behind center dash pointed at each front floor.

    I made this simple console divider out of some scrap 1/4" plywood I had laying around. Just cut two pieces of plywood to fit the dimensions of the console, cut a slot halfway through each (1/4" wide) and stick them together. I made the slot narrow enough that it required a rubber mallet to get it all the way down. I shaped one side of the shorter board to allow easier access to the small cubby area near the passenger.

    The long piece is 10.5" at the top and 10" at the bottom. It's about 6" tall.

    My 09 was also a bit wierd on this setting. If I had the truck locked and went out and hit the keyless entry unlock button to get in, then did the instructions above, it would not work.

    After jacking with it a few times, I went out one day when the truck was in the garage and before it was started up. I don't lock my truck in my garage, so no keyless unlock. Went through the instructions as above, worked!

    I've replicated this little idiosyncrosy on my truck a couple of times. For some reason this key code will not work right after a keyless entry unlock is done.

    I found this link trying to find variable wiper speeds for 2011 tacoma. I am really annoyed for how much you pay that it wasn't standard. If I missed it in a previous post I am sorry but do I just order the 05-08 stalk? or is there a new one out and has the guide changed?

    The "old" 05-08 intermittent wiper stalk part# 84652-04141 works on the 09 truck.

    Will this work on the 2011?
