    I have no clue.
I did find them. Sorry. I was hoping for closer to the $1100 range. I'll hold off for now and hope for some sales.

I mounted SS3 Pro 4K on a BAMF behind the grill mount and then cut a my grill. That puts them at head light level for aux high beams.

Interesting.... I have spent around 2 hrs. measuring and contemplating this! What is the distance from the front of the SS3's to the back & front of the grill.

Seems like the Pro Grill would be a good way to do this...

Roughly 5" from lens to mid grill. With driving lens on the SS3, there isn't much loss that the regular high beams don't cover on the periphery. I did have a section of the grill that was in front of the upper two LEDs, but trimming the grill solved that.

That's the stock '21 OR grill.

I have fuse taps on the high and low beam fuses in the engine bay to a high/low switch from anytimebackupcamera, back to a relay under the hood. I can have the lights on/off with high beam or low beam when of road.

There is more info in the aux HighBeam thread that crash referred to.

Thanks. Does the High Beam hot wire come from the HB Relay or the HB Power wire?

Have you or anyone done any tests of hidden light bars with and without the black plastic grate?

Seems like there would be significant loss.

That was in response to my questions and where I learned to write it. I talked into the high beam fuse.

Correct. The easiest way for me was to tap into one of the high-beam fuses using an add-a-fuse. That way you're not cutting or splicing into any factory wiring. The current that the relay uses to trigger the circuit is extremely low, I think I have a 1 amp fuse for it.

Just finished installing SS3 Max Fogs and a DD 30" light bar. Still have to aim them and wire in the bar as I mentioned. New toys for a 50 year old boy!

    Thanks for all the help!

After 281 pages I feel educated! We did the oem led swap on the taco with the @daveeasa harness and with the help of @crashnburn80 and @daveeasa we went with the Tungsram Megalight Ultra (formerly GE) H11 +130 and the Toshiba hir1 9011 for the 2020 4Runner.

If we ever need to replace the 4Runner housing like I had to do on the taco (dam trashcan) the oem LED’s will be going on.

The Tungsram Megalight Ultra (formerly GE) H11 +130 were purchased on eBay from a UK seller so they have not arrived just yet.

Would at least like to buy y’all @daveeasa @crashnburn80 a beer for all the info and help so please pm me your pay pal.

I've been to Dallas once in the past 5 years, helping the bro in law buy a Ram 5500. If it happens again I will hit you up for a beer for sure! I've learned a ton from @crashnburn80 and hope to continue to learn much more in the future.

I do rather like the +130's, they are fun bulbs.

I've only tested the KC Pro6 driving lights behind a custom 2nd Gen grill to determine output loss, I haven't done any kind of exhaustive testing. Obviously you want to minimize obstruction, and that tends to be easier to do with more focused products. Output loss will depend on the specific grill obstruction and the light bar product.

Makes sense. I'd like to see the results of that one. I see lots of folks with hidden lights in their grills and such.

My only formal education in lighting is College Physics 25 years ago and I forgot all of it. I'm a Land Surveyor by profession and have dealt with optical things like parallax, doppler and such. This means that I hopefully know just enough to ask decent questions and understand at least some of the results.

I've never messed around with aftermarket vehicle lights before reading this thread. The focus and intensity of these SS3 fogs and light bar is impressive.

Your work intrigues me. Thanks again.
