Tomorrow morning, I get to go out and try to start my 17 Tacoma. It's been in winter storage since December.
Had the battery tender hooked up all winter but the battery is going on 5 years old. Will she or wont she start?
I know winter is still here but it's time to get some little things done before I start driving it next month like maybe replacing the battery.

Nice clean install at home today. No change to engine bay, so it uses factory airbox. And it doesn't touch pillar (no drilling hole).

I wonder if it wouldn't be a good idea to put a course scotch brite pad behind that grille to keep out low flying insects. Might even match the color scheme too.

Let me see on Monday. Obviously you’re not the only one with this problem so we will look and see if we can make a smart work around. No promises but at least you have a fabricator looking into it.

Yeah those little arm connectors are easy to move which I think f’s it up. Mine there is a noticeable click when I go from 2wd to 4hi but the first movement is loose

Busy day, finally got around to installing the Spiker Engineering hood struts. While the paint was drying from the drill holes installed the MBRP turn down exhaust.
Made brackets for hood lights so they actually shine in the engine bay.

Lmao. I did the same thing with my 80’ Toyota, maybe not quite so I’m detail with accessories… the scale warn 8274 didn’t really seem worth it to me though. Wouldn’t mind doing the same with my 21 army green Tacoma. What’s the brand for the whole thing?
