If you can measure the shock lengths at ride height on your truck now, I can give you a pretty good idea if you can make it the same

How is the corrosion resistance on these shocks? Anyone have salt during the winter?

I’m really impressed with the way the truck drives with the Fox 2.5 Resi’s up front (JBA UCAs).

I removed the sway bar when doing the install and much to my surprise the truck is 100% more stable when and where it needs to be on the road, especially at higher speeds. Excessive/uncomfortable body roll that shifts you side to side in your seat is eliminated. Nose dive was also eliminated. Being in California, long curved freeway on/off ramps and sharp corners at speeds were really uncomfortable with the stock TRD OR Bilstein shocks. The Fox 2.5s just soak it up and keep the vehicle feeling stable and level throughout the curves. Freeway speeds are extremely comfortable and controlled.

How much of all that is Fox and how much of it is Accutune’s valving? That’s a question for them.

Either way these are such a great upgrade and I haven’t yet taken them off-road, I hope to be equally impressed there. AND, I haven’t even set up my rear suspension yet. Still driving on stock OR shocks and a 1.5” AAL. I hope the difference will be yet another night and day when I get the tuned rears and a new leaf pack.

Btw Accutune absolutely nailed it on sending out the coilovers properly adjusted. I asked for no lift up front and to bring the truck back to stock height with the weight I’ve got on. After alignment and settling today I’m sitting at 20.5/21”.

I've had nothing but the absolute best service with them. Very very rare these days. But I try to recommend them to everyone

Right on, so as long as those measurements are pretty accurate, you should have no problem getting that same lift or even slightly more. Our max recommended ride height with Fox 2.5 0-3" Coilovers would be 21"

If you dont already have a set, you may want to consider getting the Performance Elite Series shocks that have an aluminum body.

Just wait until you take them off-road. It’s friggn amazing. Find a terrible washboard road and report back. You’ll see. And cornering on pavement is also outstanding.

Edit: my 2.5s came from Accutune.

I purchased a 'Stage 4' kit from Accutune and finally had it installed. I had the install completed by SoCal Suspension in El Cajon. I also purchased new tires and had an alignment. My truck is a 2018 TRD offroad and had 51K miles on the stock suspension before the upgrade

On road the truck doesn't feel as much like a dump truck on the San Diego roads and felt like a huge upgrade
and then I went to the desert...
Off road it is a completely new truck. I spent the weekend in Ocotillo Wells and I couldn't wipe the smile off my face as I was cruising through the washes.

Thank you for the help AccuTune! I highly recommend AccuTune and SoCal Suspension to anyone wondering.

Will there be elite series for the guys running 12" and 14" shocks? Especially the guys with 2.0 shocks. Lol

Sounds like something we covered in the article ;)

12" and 14" shocks used for rear shock relocation kits are using Factory Race Series shocks, not an OEM shock

I recently purchased a set of fox 2.5 Coilovers and I'm wondering if I'll need the spanner wrench to adjust for the driver side lean or will the collar turn easy enough if I compress the springs with a spring compressor?

If you don't have remote reservoirs, then the spanner will work well (shameless plug: I have one for sale if you want). However, the remote reservoir hoses will impede spanner travel. I believe a 5/16" punch will work and is what I personally use. The punch will work regardless of reservoir presence.

You also do not need to compress the springs to make adjustments though it technically would help. That said, the distance between the spring coil and center strut is not very large so finding a clamp that safely fits may prove difficult.

I have made several adjustments with everything in place on the truck. Just have to jack up that side of the truck.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong or have stated something unsafe.

I have remote reservoirs lol. And I just noticed the collar tightening screw would be on the back side once mounted so I'll probably have to adjust it to the front before mounting them.

Edit: you wouldn't happen to have a picture of said punch.
