I’m about to put 4 Bilstein 5100s on my 2021 sr5 4x4 Tacoma and I am thinking of setting the fronts at .65” lift (second setting) with no rear lift. I’ve seen that some guys use the second setting while some use the third (1.1” lift). I’d be interested in thoughts on both options. And pics if you have any.

What is your concern? All you're doing is slightly leveling your truck.
The Bilsteins do not change. They are still a good set of shocks.
They perform exactly the same from first notch to the fifth notch, that's what they are designed for.

Are you asking if .65" is enough to level you truck? All you need to do is take a tape measure and that will tell you exactly how much lift you need to level your truck.

Lifting the front 1.1" will level your Taco perfectly, if your not interested in lifting the rear.

You'll love the much better shocks, and Bilstein recommends you keep the stock coils.

Thanks. My stock front is about 1” lower than rear currently, so my concern is that notch 3 would raise the front 1.1” whereas notch 2 would only raise it .65”. I don’t want the rear to look bogged down if I ever put a cap on the back.

Your rear will only look bogged down with a heavy load in the back, your good!

Got them put on today. Set at second height. Raised front ~3/4”. Perfect for me. Rides great.
