Luckily out of the 4 trucks. Only the 98 needs a radiator. Lol

Does anyone know where to source new window trim?

you can always run an auto tranny. Its a bit taller but I'm pretty sure your skids cover it all the same. So not like you're loosing anything like clearance. It would hang below the frame is all.

For both A/T and M/T? I can confirm that the A/T radiator is listed as "Product not available"
Hoping that since you were looking for an auto, we're looking for different things. I placed the order, we'll see what happens.

Good point. I'll have to check that if the one I ordered doesn't exist. Can ask Eric to confirm that he only ever had one set of skids for 1st gens, regardless of trans.

I was planning on using the same one in my 5 speed taco - did you find a replacement MT?

Im lik 99% certain Eric's skids don't do anything different for the MT vs AT.

I only know of 1 maybe 2 much smaller shops that ever did that. Most didn't since it didn't make sense cost wise.

I would steer away from the 18" core height option if you have a V6. I tried it out after a rebuild because i wanted it tucked out of the way but the truck ran hotter than i would like during cruising speeds, 205+. I switched to the 3 core Champion and now the engine stays at 175 and will peak just above 180. I love it.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

You'll run those temps until you don't, and it fails... and it will fail.

Mine Champion hasn't failed yet but I didn't do too much hardcore wheeling with it installed. But since doing the TB/WP last year I swapped back to a Rockauto special since I was already taking it out.

Edit: not sure on the miles but I had it installed for a good 3 years

Mine too, thought I was one of the lucky ones who didnt leak. 3yr /30k ish miles is a good estimate on when these Champions will fail if using Red/Pink coolant.
Went back to a Denso 221-3136 to fit and clear my SAS crossmember.

You using the portion for the transmission too though? I think I heard I can get away with the 18" with a M/T. At least according to @slander

Last I checked I couldn’t get one for my 98 manual. But it may of been a legit backordered thing
