I like to run 36 psi. If I have my bed loaded (canopy, tools, crap) I'll bump the back tires up to about 40 so they don't looks as compressed. I have no rhyme or reason as to how I came up with these numbers, just works for me. And yah ride isn't the greatest, but that's expected for E load on a 3500lb vehicle.

My 5100's with ome springs will be here Tuesday, hopefully going to pick a bed up Saturday, I hope to get the body lift removed and the bed put on next weekend. I also need to get my front and rear bumpers ordered.

What ome springs did you get? Also I ordered my bumper covers on ebay, 100 bucks. The funniest part was they cam in this little box and unfolded like origami. You migt want to consider a 30 dollar fog light upgrade.

I don't store too much in my truck but I do have a half sized toolbox in the back.

It's a better built SEC low profile box. It's aluminum so it's light weight but may not be a tough as a steel box. I found this one on Facebook marketplace but they can be found online also.

Cut it out! Seatbelt in middle whole thing out, keep it though. Can cut off jack mount too for more room.

Just placed my order for a coastal offroad front bumper. Also, the body lift is coming off Saturday morning.

God Damn you why couldn’t you have posted this a few months ago? Before I did this? How does it fit at the bottom of the back glass?
Absolutely no Storage whatsoever! Sounds good though.

Well, I did post this about 6 yrs ago..........

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/dc-storage-bins-in-08-rc.428800/

Here's a coupla pics where you can see where it meets the window.........

    20160423_102717.jpg
    20220416_113637.jpg

There is a gap about 1/2 inch or so wide between top of panel and window frame. I used a piece of door weather stripping to fill it. Added some more new pics of all the stuff these bins have organized to the thread above. And that sub would mount in the bin behind driver seat like someone else did. There is a pic of that near the end of the linked thread. Such a simple very handy mod, one of my favorites.

What is the going price for a 2012 single cab? I’m asking because i have a neighbor that wants to buy my truck after I get my shell. I’m getting my A.R.E. MX shell next week and I have seriously considered trading my 19 Tundra Platinum off for a new Tacoma off road with a 6 foot bed. I only use the tundra for pulling our Rpod 192 (3,600lbs dry) but a new Taco could pull it easy as I had a 16 tacoma that pulled our 22ft airstream. I looked on carfax and single cabs without a winch nor a camper were in the 22k range out east. Mine has 76k miles, runs great, no rust (Colorado/WY rig) but has a couple small dents and the rear bumper has been hit. What say you out there Tacoma brothers and sisters? Is 24k ridiculous to ask? I have to buy the camper so that is a 3k cost no matter what and because of that no money will be made.
