    A few.
According to Wescott the 2022 trd pro is the same height as the previous years in the front. This contradicts everything Ive heard. Its supposed to be 1/2" higher front and rear. Can anyone who owns one confirm?

No idea what the measurements for previous years are compared to my ‘22. You have numbers? Toyota says it is 1.5” front lift for 2022 and 1” for previous years. No idea.

I am guessing TRD Pro no longer comes with the big red badges on the front doors?

Since the 2022 Tacoma's reveal in July of 2021, I have looked into this issue from multiple sources. There WAS a change from 2021 and Toyota hyped the hell out it. Wescott WTF? The bottom line is the lift of the 2022 Pro relative to the SR5 is 1.5" in front and 0.5" in rear. Thus, the only (height related) change for 2022 was that the front went from a 1.0" lift in front in 2021 now to a 1.5" lift. The 2021 Pro already had a 0.5" rear lift so that is unchanged for 2022.

This was my understanding as well. Now just trying to figure out which lift to purchase, the Wescott or Eibach longer coil springs?!
Also, I assuming spacers are needed to make 285s work properly without rubbing UCAs?

Yes, 3/4” spacers are needed to clear the new UCA if you keep stock wheels.

Would 1/2” spacers work? I live on a gravel road and afraid the wheels may stick too far past the flares causing a rock to hit the side of the truck from the tires.

Is there some advantage to this or just aesthetic? I guess it does look sorta cool. Can't tell if it's textured with some protectant or if that's just rain

Im not sure. I don’t get my tires on until the 5th of May but @JRuss505 might be able to say. He has pics with 3/4” spacers here.

I don’t know what the factory height from center of hub to fender is on a sr5 or other models. My ‘22 pro has 22” from hub to fender. Everything Toyota said about the 2022 pro says 1.5” front and 0.5” rear lift compared to stock 3rd gen tacomas.

    My 2022” is 1.5” - 2” higher than my 2010 sr5. So I am happy with it.

I also go back and forth on the Westcott lift. They say it isn’t a spacer lift. I don’t know how that can be. They are literally putting spacers in both front and back……

There lift has a thicker spring seat on which seems to be similar to a bilstein 5100 as far as preloading the spring from the bottom to give lift and the top part is just a 1/2" thick spacer that goes on top of the coilover assembly.

I think you might be able to get away with .5” spacers, but the worry with using those is that you won’t have enough of the OEM lug bolt for the lug nut to safely grab on to. I didn’t even try .5” that for that reason and went with BORA .75” spacers (they’re technically adapters, not spacers) from Motorsport Tech in Reno.
My sense is the .5” spacers would probably clear the UCAs minimally, but with the .75” adapters, I am totally worry free and have about 2” of clearance from the tire on the UCA’s. With a .5” spacer I think you would probably have clearance for most highway applications, but may not when going off road.
No grinding of the lug nuts either since the TRD Pro wheels have a nice little cavity on the back to accommodate any lug bolt poke.
I’m really happy with the BORA product and their customer service is beyond fantastic. .75” adapters created some new challenges with some rubbing in the fender well, but I would much rather have that problem than rubbing on the suspension.

Mine is at 22.5” in the rear and 22” in the front. I like a little rake and am happy with how it came out….also not sure my wife would ever be able to get in if I put a Westcott lift on, although I do like the way they look. I’m guess that lift would probably fix the fender well rubbing issues that are created with putting spacers on.
Everyone has what they like and I like the way this truck looks in the video except for putting 1.25” spacers on the front only. You can’t really tell from the video, but I would def notice that the front wheels were poking out a lot more than the back if I saw this truck in real life. Personally I don’t like that, but that’s what makes the world cool.
