    i tried wd-40. should i use a rag or something and let it sit on there for a while? what's left is not noticeable if you don't know it's there, but i know it's there.

    Yeah I sprayed it on a microfiber rag and wiped it down. Wait are you talking about on the truck or on the actual badge.

    on the truck...
    i used the microfiber rag with the wd-40, but it was taking forever. i feel confident it will come out, i should find out tomorrow. i wish i was as easy as removing the "trd" stickers was.

    Try heating it up and keeping it pretty warm while you wipe. I used a medium amount of wd-40 on the microfiber and wiped it down real good. Maybe use some alcohol too? When I did it, I spent a while wiping with alcohol and then used wd-40 and it came right off.

    i just finished taking the residue off the truck. i used rubbing alcohol and it came right off. it looks much better.

    Well crap. I think i screwed mine up lol. Everything looks good but this one part where i got lazy and busted out a plastic spatula (don't tell my wife!) to help me get some of the glue off.

    After hitting it with more goo gone, alcohol and even the 'toyogaurd' it still looks the same. It appears as though I've actually scratched the paint/clear coat.

    Any suggestions?

    I went and got some abrasive polish (per notes in the detailing thread). I'm going to try it out tomorrow. I'll keep you guys posted.

    I personally use Adam's Polishes. I've heard Meguire's Scratch X works great as well.
