What oil are people using after the SC install?

1st gen - it's got a built engine, a turbo, and waaaaaaay too much to list. 3rd gen - basic-bitch lift, S/C, Pro Wheels
The factory recommended oil is more than capable of still doing it's job with a measley 8psi of boost.

Hell I still run factory recommended oil in my turbo first gen and it's got over double the stock power to the wheels and 22psi of boost.

That was my thought. However, I’ve been reading a lot of mix feelings about what to use specifically for a Supercharged truck. I might stick with factory specs if no one else has a better argument on why ai should do something else.

Ideally, we should gather oil temperature data to find out where the SC engine is running, then choose the appropriate viscosity. That being said, I'll likely run a 0W30 or 5W30.

I just use the Mobile 1 0W20 syn - and change every 5K, and check/drain catch can every month btwn change. No problems. Yes I could go a few more miles between changes but simply don't.

@SatlyPartiot408 Just an FYI, some have complained that they were challenged by the 90 elbow, with getting the threads tightly sealed when having it pointed in the necessary direction. (when it is not tight enough, the only option is a full 360 deg turn, which can be over tight or impossible) Using a female 90 elbow, with a close nipple (or shoulder nipple) to the Maggie, allows for getting tight threads AND having it point where desired. This is an old plumbers trick, when dealing with threaded fittings, as for a 360 deg rotation, each end of the nipple only needs to tighten by 180 degrees. I found these elbows and nipples from Amazon also.

EDIT: On the 3rd gen Tacoma, the housed wire bundle is very close to this tap-point, and I found that there is not enough room for the above mentioned Nipple and Elbow!!! I had to run and find a street 90 deg elbow, as suggested by Maggy!

Hope this did not trip up anyone.

I know but if you could kindly point a person to where one could find it. Was it a physical number or sent electronically?

No, it would have been typed out into the email.

And then you copy\paste it into the vftuner software to activate the license.

It’s just a long string of characters. That’s been replaced by registration of the adapter serial number.

Magnuson TVS1900 Supercharger with 87mm pulley, Catted OVTune dumptubes, Doug Thorley 2.5in y-pipe, custom mufflers, 76mm Tundra throttle body, 5.29 Yukon gears, JamesT custom fuel rails, Yotawerx 87mm tune, Eibach Pro Truck Stage 2 suspension. And some other stuff.
Anyone else having an issue with the Magnuson tune (for 5.29 gears) banging on the rev limiter (fuel cutoff)? When I go WOT it hits the limiter, hangs for a couple seconds, changes gears and does it again at the top of the next gear. It seems to do it in at least 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears. It is extremely annoying, at WOT it pulls great but when it hits the limiter it lunges forward very suddenly.

I can't speak to its awesomeness yet since I haven't been able to flash yet but I am super pumped to try the Yotawerx tune with the Maggy blower.
