Good call, i can also ditch one of the 20s down to a 15 entirely since the only thing on one entire circuit is the LED outdoor light over the big door.

Plus then you get rear discs and you're 3.5" over 6lug stock per side

Just cleaning up axles, figuring length of shocks (cycling leaf pack) mounting, and weld it all up right?

Someone asked about me possibly helping them weld up rear mounts for a shock relocation. I start doing that, I may want to get into doing more for other people.

im considering it to save some money and gain more skill with the ole 4.5 in. PRoblem is i'd look goofy for a bit with it being wide, right? Is the tundy axle same length but leafs instead of coils?

In that case add wheel spacers so it's super exaggerated.. that way when you finish the front, you take the rear wheel spacers off and it'll look "normal"

Well....flux core welds can look bad up top, but end up looking really good underneath said flux.

Same can be said for stick.

I'd say pay attention to the SMAW as rod angle can really fuck things up easily.

Think mild steel is finicky with rod angles? Try 308L on stainless; fun as hell to run but you better get your angles on point.

Some older panels dont allow the double pole breakers but Id say if it was done after 1990 chances are its good to go.

Single cab Chevy pulls over just ahead of my shop.

Owner gets out with a long breaker bar in his hand (no socket at the end).

Opens hood (with vehicle on) and hits something to the side of the intake manifold (passenger).

    o_O

Proceeds to get back in his truck and drive off.

Assuming its a 4.8 cause it's one of those base model 'work truck' types with LED lights, slammed, and on 22s.
