Not sure, that's just what he said. I asked if he was replacing them because they look a little worn. He said only 2 seasons of wheeling no highway use

Oof! I just checked the Yokohamas and they're at a strong 15/32 out of 20/32 new. That's 20-25K miles and a fair amount of off-road use. If course, I don't wheel super hard. I must say that I'm pretty happy with them for a daily driven MT.

    I like red labels...

Seriously, though, what does that mean? Maybe they didn't pass QC?

They look like the standard tread pattern. I'm guessing that they use a softer compound?

I measured the first one like 5 times to be sure!

I rotate every 5K. Noise hasn't gotten (noticeably) any worse than new, either. They're louder in the cold. But, they're not winter tires anyway.

I really can't think of any complaints, other than the standard drawbacks of any MT.

    We'll be tire brothers! :D

I've had good luck with Yokohama in the past, as well. The G015 is a damn good year round AT, just a boring tread pattern.

If you're interested in more opinions on the MT's, here's a good thread:

Yep they are soft and are sticky once they heat up. I’ve seen some vids of regular tires vs them and it’s insane what they can do. It’s like a gecko climbing over anything it wants

I can imagine! My buddy has some barely DOT approved street tires on his Sonoma, and they're like gum. I'd love to try some wheeling on a set of sticky MT's!

They're pretty sweet! And, they have one of the best looking sidewall treads I have seen.

Looks like I'll be putting less miles on the 4Runner as well. At least, I don't have to use it to run around town.

I daily my subaru to work and still the gas is killing me. 100 miles a day = 2 tanks a week. As soon as I get my CDL I have to look for a closer job. Sucks because I actually like this one

Ouch! Do you get anything for fuel/drive time?

I'm putting about the same on, but I have a company truck. Sometimes I forget what a huge perk that is!

Nope. If I work a Saturday I get paid for my commute for that day. I've been keeping gas receipts for taxes since the car is mainly driven to/from work 95% of the time. I work for DOT

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
My '06 A/C would freeze you out of the cab, my '17 gets cool. Today it was 86*, the A/C couldn't get ahead of the heat being absorbed by the interior, even using re-circulation. Only when the sun went behind clouds did it start to cool off inside.
