To think my bumper could be up there in NY and my one legged ass is stuck down here in FL

Calculating current gas prices... That would be the most expensive bumper in history lmao

Glad you had a good experience. Maybe he'll answer your call. Could you ask him who's orders are ready?

Being in this type of hobby. Things happen. I’ve seen companies over the years with kinda the same story.

I don’t have any connection to EO other than being a customer and someone that went to a handful of events.

I felt the need to post because I’m a combat vet that deals with pretty bad ptsd. Derrick and Travis specifically would make it a point to hang out with me, and help me in a couple situations out on the trails. An for that I’ll always appreciate that.

I have zero idea what happen with the business but on a personal level I can’t bash these dudes with a clear mind.

I understand why others might feel differently, especially when we’re dealing with so much money.

I do truly feel for those people. Especially after reading 19 pages of shitting on EO and their staff.

    - and thanks. It’s taken me a bit to get it, where it’s at.

It was a joke, I wouldn't expect someone to do that. I already tried those other avenues.

No one’s going to flame you for having a positive experience with EO and objectively describing it.

I don’t think anyone thinks EO was setup from the start with deviant intentions to defraud people. What I think many people believe is extreme mismanagement dug EO deeper and deeper into trouble until the owners had to start doing shady shit just to keep things afloat. Even at this very moment, it’s possible that Derrick and Andrew think they’ve done nothing wrong and everything their customers had suffered was necessary to sustain their business.

As it’s been stated many times, this won’t be the first or last small fab shop that will rise and fall like this… and threads like serve as a cautionary reminder for customers and entrepreneurs alike.

Still keeping up with this thread as well as the Facebook group and all I gotta say is damn, I’m glad I went with my gut feeling and filed my dispute a month and a half ago before this all went down. Even did the math and I filed at exactly 160 days without knowing about PayPal’s 180 day thing

I just put my claim in. I was waiting to hear back from Andrew or Dereck. But nothing.

I’m out a whole radflo with adjustable bypass and Dobson springs. Paid in full and in cash. So I’m pretty screwed

I ordered some sliders from EO on Feb18th as part of a group buy (I think it was a 20% discount) and Derrick was very quick to respond to my questions about the sliders and let me know the discount code to purchase them. That was the last I ever heard from EO. Few weeks ago when that event was cancelled I figured it was in my best interest to try and get my money back for the sliders because it had already been 12 weeks (I was told 8-10weeks). As of now my credit card company has issued a temporary refund and after 35 days they will make the final decision but I cant see them not getting the money back especially if EO is out of business now. Just think its messed up of a guy that knew his business was failing to keep taking peoples money with no intention to deliver the products.

I speculate that Paypal and Amex each have a special department for recovering consumer protection funds, and if so, I doubt any vendor would want to meet them.
