    What’s up y’all,

does anyone know what wire/s are the best to tap into (t-tap, vampire clip) for the driver side panel to make the switches illuminate blue (“Ditch lights”) when the lights are on at night? The light icons turn blue when turned on… I’ve seen some illumination harnesses that adds a daisy chain but I believe it plugs into the back of head unit or something which mine is already occupied by Anytime camera (front and back) so I don’t think I would be able to add anything additional to that harness.

    Any takers??

Cool thanks, just saw this. I might have to pick up one of those circuit testers to make it easier. Lol

I used a pre-made plug and play harness that plugs into the third brake light cargo bed light switch where it plugs into the wire harness behind the switch panel left of the steering wheel. This worked great for the AoB switches I bought, which have a background illumination wire that lets you tie the ambient back light into the same dimmable light wire as the cargo light switch, so any switches tied into this will light and dim along with the rest of the interior LEDs.

I used daisy chain harnesses to plug into that one because I didn't know how many switches I would have and wanted to be able to rearrange as I added stuff and changed positions of switches for ergonomics. Your switches look like they are also two-stage like mine are, so I'm assuming you will have an extra wire to run to the accessory to turn the second LED on/off based on if the accessory is on/off.

If you don't have the cargo light switch (think it's not on access cabs), then I also remember reading about people accomplishing the same thing by using a harness that taps into the ECT PWR switch instead, it's just less convenient a location to use.

Even if the switch is missing, the wire circuits are there. It uses the same harness, just no switch attachedo_O:rofl:

Does anyone know how to wire the cargo plug into a switch that I purchased on Amazon. My switch has 4 wires. I jumped the 2 on the harness and have power. Thanks in advance.

The OEM switch is a DPDT (double pole double throw) switch. The one you have is not. Careful you don't :bananadead::bananadead::bananadead:

    Didya read the link?
You'll need a DPDT switch to duplicate OEM switch.
