Looking for some input by experience.

Seems like I have a general vibration issue, noticing above 45 mph mainly and is the worst around 65 mph. Going up to about 75 mph it's still there, just a bit more comfortable.

The main symptoms I can give is that the body of the truck shakes, and I can see the vibration move the passenger seat.

    Any thoughts/input?

Most vibration issues come from bad U joints and carrier bearing

Suppose I can give my carrier bearing a check, doing a fluid change shortly. Been greasing the fittings for u joints.

Mine does the same. Checked joints and bearing and they are fine. Was going to retorque the propeller shaft to see if that helps.

    Dealer couldn’t find issues.
    Independent shop couldn’t find issues.
    Second set of tires.
Multiple alignment and balance jobs by 3 different shops. All report no issues.

Done it since I bought it so I’m about ready to chalk it up as a loss and call it normal. It’s definitely annoying and like you my passenger seat back gets bouncing pretty bad if it’s unoccupied.

I had a bad rim that caused the same thing, I upgraded to newer OEM rims and it the shake was gone

Ya look at the drive shaft, failing that, get a wheels balance.

First thing I’d rule out is that the wheels/tires are properly balanced.

Have you done anything to the truck lately? I mean like change tires or had them rebalanced or did it just creep up on you? Depending on the mileage, u-joints can creep up to where they'll just come apart.

a U-joint can be bad and a guy might not be able to tell by simply looking at it. I had a bad U-joint recently and they all looked fine. But once I pulled the shaft to swap out the carrier bearing, I found that my center U-joint was going out.

Can anyone tell me how to remove the armrest from the door trim panel? Looks like it is plastic welded on to panel.
