Help! with Check light

I turned on my truck on and the check engine light flashed 6 times then went off. What does this mean?

 

thats actually the "oil change reminder" light............and its letting you know that you are getting close to 5k miles since it was last reset, or since the oil was changed.

 

Ive already change the oil do I still need to reset the light?

 

yeah...........everytime the oil is changed, the light needs to be reset, otherwise....it'll go off every 5k miles.
