Nic has frame issues that need to be addressed before he wheels his truck.

Dang I was hoping you were going to send me some links of builds to prove me wrong haha I’ve been eying SAS pretty hard since I was looking at 40’s but I may pick up another vehicle for that if I go the nuclear route. Trying to keep in mind the kids might want to ride with when they get older. The FJ would be good for camping stuff and the taco would be good for mild wheeling trips.

I'd be curious as to how much that guy spent so far. Definitely a set up rig though!

Lol, they are all expensive and time consuming. The Camburg LT doesnt come with extended axles or coil overs so that would be another $2000 or more, they price out about the same. You can invest as much as you want to or do it on a buget. I got over $4000 in my front axle but I went the strong as possible route. I would like to have a nice riding LT Tacoma too, may be my next project. If you decide to SAS I can send you a lot of links

Looks like mostly surface rust, wire brush and some paint will fix that. I'd check that spot on the side in the second picture.

thats not actually his frame it was just an example pic. Its not surface rust. On the backside theres massive rust holes in it. Hes bought a patch kit we are going to weld in.
