He told me running 14” 650# coils is better

 

I think I replied somewhere years ago that icons were fine shocks for the wheeling and daily driver needs..... I was wrong

 

Tims advice to me was to run the new top hats til they break. Then order Kings, ADS, or Fox. Problem solved…

 

I believe he has rebuilt these twice.... Time is now I'll start saving

 

Yea he’s done mine twice. They’ve got over 150k miles on them. Definitely upgrading when they break again.

Yesterday coming into Colorado on i70 I saw at least 10 built 4Runners, 5 built Tacomas and a few GXs all heading east towards Kansas. What is out there for wheeling?

then this asshat rolls in, spends an hour moving about the field to park right behind me.
I was more or less ok with it, until he fired up the genny.

There are obvious areas that are ok to park in, this was the actual center of the field.
So Archer and I left.

 

Kind of glad I left Saturday afternoon, the amount of razors, atv's, 5th wheels, tow pigs with trailers was unreal, and that was just the stuff already parked there. On the way down , there was a steady stream of traffic of all types coming up to get away from it all and experience nature. And let's not even discuss the Larimer county ban on all fires and fireworks. that didn't seem to apply up there.
Nice and quiet here in town right now.


Seems like the National forest is being viewed more as an off road park.
