Hey guys, was trying to find the issue of my rough ride. I thought it was the Eibach Stage 1 kit I have on since it has a higher spring rate, but others report that it rides fine. I notice the bumps are super harsh but it's even more so in the seats. I have a 1.5" single add a leaf in the rear but I was looking to get a new leaf pack because I think they look worn. Before I buy a new pack to see if it helps, I just wanted some opinions on if it looks normal or worn to anyone else. Here's some pictures:

The pictures make the leaves look almost totally flat...

My 18 offroad springs look exactly the same and ride is fine, actually it has a good off/on rode ride.

Yeah that's how they look in person as well. That's why I thought they may be worn out. I also wasn't sure if the front shackle is so low on all Tacoma's or is it just because they are so flat.

Thank you all for the help, so since I'm feeling the roughness and jarring feeling over bumps and minor road imperfections I assume its the rear suspension (AAL). Since they look pretty normal, what would be some other options to help, I don't carry much weight in the bed at all.

Do you have a photo showing how much room you have above the bump stop?

dish out the extra little bit more cash for the icon rtx rather than putting more leafs on an already flattened pack. putting on an aal on a already flattened pack won’t significantly improve the ride like a new leaf pack will.

    This.

I did the Icon AAL then ended up going back and upgrading to the RXT pack. Way better.

Noted, save a little money just to end up having to spend more money. I guess my only issue is that others says it's not really flat, it's just normal Tacoma leafs.

I would also suggest a new leaf pack. A upgraded one. The add a leaf only works for so Long.

    - springs don’t really wear out; at least not in a few years of daily driving
    - an add-a-leaf increases your spring rate which will lead to a harsher ride quality
    - the stock leaf springs are fairly flat a ride height and it’s nothing to worry about

Thank you, so it’s probably just the stiffness I’m feeling from the increased spring rate from the AAL.
