I just purchased an OME Nitrocharger Sport kit with the “Medium” load option and I got JBA UCAs since my ball joints and bushings needed replaced anyways. The OME kit came with 880 coils and I just wanted to see some pictures or fender measurements to help me decide whether I should get 881s or 882s instead. I want at least 2” of lift.

Please share pictures if you have similar setups

If you plan on having any kind of weight up front like a steel bumper and winch, then you'll need the 882.

I might weld together a low key pipe bumper but nothing too crazy and probably no winch.

Then yeah you'll be good with 881.

Ok I’ll look into those. Would a combo of nitrocharger 880 and a 1” lift spacer be fine? Since I will have new UCAs? Or would that mess things up?

I had the 882s and nitrochargers installed with SPC ucas and I got a full 3” of lift. It looked great but rode very stiff and harsh. The CV angles were maxed and I could tell they were rubbing the ribs on the seals badly. I actually just sold mine for some Fox 2.0 coilovers and I will say that they are definitely hands down worth the money as they ride muuuch smoother. OME 882s will reach your end goal though

With 31”x10.5”x15” tires my fender to ground was 38”

Here is another pic with the 31s

You bought the wrong spring setup, they're not meant to be ridden without added weight.

I recently did 881’s and I think it’s also too much lift. cv’s still touch the ribs. doesn’t ride terribly stiff, but it’s not smooth. I will probably end up changing them out.

    Would new UCAs fix this?

It would definitely help with the alignment. I don’t see that it would help with the cv’s or the ride.

Would you end up changing them out with 880?

I got 880 on a double cab 4x4 with full skids and I got 1.5" of lift. CV angles are great. Your truck should get 2" since you're much lighter than mine I assume. I'll take some pictures for you later tonight. The ride is awesome. Not harsh at all. If you want major lift, then the 880 aren't for you.

Id love to see some photos of your setup. Maybe a measurement of your fender as well if possible?

I really like that setup looks great but since I already have OME I probably won’t go that route.

It's 35.5" from ground to fender. I'm running stock size 31's.

    Nope just a Dakar AAL.

Might go progressive leaf in the future when I add more weight.
