Looks like they don’t make a rebuildable Uni all that fits the Camburg kit, need something that’s 1.25” ID AND 2.375” OD.
I send them a message anyhow.

Their 3/4 Heims look good though. Slightly better price than the same thing from TMR.

No reason to replace it as long as it's not bent. I would take it out and check it against a straight edge though if I were you. Doing the double shear up there is good peace of mind too. I have a set to install for mine because I noticed one of my bolts was bent

    Ill for sure check it.
IIRC I read somewhere that they elongate or something and should be replaced or checked. Maybe that was another bolt up front though.

Hm. Never heard any mention of that about the UCA bolt before.
The FSM for 1st gens doesn't state that bolt as being one-time use or anything so I can't imagine they would change that in later gens.

Rebuildable uniball is not going to drop in to a standard c-clip uniball cup

They are a completely different design with the most obvious difference of the rebuidable uniball cup being threaded to hold in the races and internals

Plus they typically have less misalignment than a traditiinal uniball which will limit travel

You could build a new kit with rebuildable uniballs but cannot retrofit them into a kit with traditional uniball cups

    Too many to remember
This is not correct, EMF rebuildable uniballs drop right into standard cups and have more misalignment then a 3/4” bolt in style

Question was about TMR rebuildable uniballs which are a more traditional style rebuildable like johnny joints, ballistic fab race style or poly race uniballs... that are not interchangeable

As far as i know emf uni's are not available for a 1.25 uniball replacement but I could be wrong

4D51F49E-E51B-4430-8B21-91A698948FA3.jpg I am about to install these McNeil +2 fenders. You guys got any suggestions or tips?

Put some undercoating on the back sides.

I hear you may have to trim/shave around the bottom edge of the door. What tools do you use to shave off some material?

A good rasp or file works wonders, i had to trim the section that overlaps the cowl panel at top edge of fender. Other than that the mcneil front fenders fit really well.

Definitely mock up everything - close the hood, put the headlight in on that side, even the grill. I made The mistake of not closing the hood and somehow left an extra wide gap. Between the two at the top go the fenders.

My brain wouldn't shut up last night before bed and it decided I should brainstorm how to LT a 2003 corolla. Obviously a dumb idea, but.....

I mean its basically an A-arm in the rear, just extendo, run coils through the trunk...
The hard part would be CV axles up front and where to put the coils on the front. The rest is just custom length arms. Though it's a macpherson style suspension up front. Wonder what it'd take.

I was just thinking "huh I could clear some 33s if the wheels were outside of the wheel wells" "I wonder what the travel limits are on the CVs" "surely I could extend the lower control arms..." "The rear is an a-arm style axle, that's like have a 2 link..."

Depends on the Corolla... if you want to go big, King has produced some large one off struts for the RAV4 and Ridgeline. Koni has some Heavy Track struts and shocks for the RAV4 that might adapt.
