    Happy Monday errybuddy.

@FlyingWolfe safe travels. Hopefully the NY through DC gauntlet isn't too rough on you.

Did a thing to get ready for my Maine road trip Thursday

What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Car and Bike show Saturday AM. Graham Rahall owns the local Ducati dealership and is also a huge collector. They do a thing called Ducs and Donuts. Brought my own flashiest Italian over and according to the vendor stuck closest, it got the most attention. Nice. I was wandering around checking out cars so I had no idea. Did capture this shot for @BananaMan

I don't think so. I've not received a notice of such things. Perhaps I should check my emails. o_O

Nicely done. At one time Mark had a similar setup.

    Yup. Original Bestop Supertop
There's a new "Bestop Supertop for Truck 2" o_O that has improved on a few bits. I got this at a blowout price when the new ones come out. It works pretty well. I add a few extra clamps just for piece of mind, but have had no problems with it. I go back and forth between this and my Solid tonneau. Summer traveling is easier with this.

Nice! I'll look at their website, but can you tell me, in your opinion, how well it stows on the truck for occasions I need to haul outsize stuff? Like my quad for example. Or would it be better to just take it off? How quick is remove/reinstall process? Thanks for your time.

Actually you do have to watch for Southerners (@Plain Jane Taco don't count, still kinda mid ways, like West Virginia's cousin...). They'll do exactly this and then stab you behind your back. I won't ever live in the South ever gain

Common misconception. Kentucky really isn't that far south. I can drive straight east and run right into Washington DC

Oh I know, but some people consider Kentucky "South"

Also, why in the Hell would anyone actually want to go to DC anyways!? o_O

well it’s all relative I suppose. The fact is you can leave home with a cap, unexpectedly decide to come home with a lazy boy or a dirt bike, and do so. You simply couldn’t with a leer or a.r.e.

It goes down super quickly. If you look at my photos above one with the panels in and one with the panels out those three panels slide out really easily and then the whole thing just folds down like a convertible top it literally takes seconds you could have the three panels out and the top down easily in 90 second. Then there’s two straps to secure it right behind the cab of the truck. Putting those three panels in however takes a few minutes, and can be tricky if it’s cold out. Bear in mind the materials used are expected to be serviceable from below zero to well over 100 so it’s a really robust fabric things are Stiff. add Cold to that and it could get pretty tricky I would imagine for you in Alaska. But again if it’s the difference between getting that thing home or driving an extra hundred miles round-trip to get your cap off and come back? In my mind it’s a no-brainer.

We're like the gateway to the south.

That's the answer I was hoping for, thank you very much, I appreciate it. I'll start my research to likely purchase one.
