    Took the canopy off today to do some work, for some reason the truck is so much more likable without the canopy… hesitant to put it back on

    Hello I recently joined TW and wanted to introduce myself on this thread. About two weeks ago I bought a TRD Sport DCSB MT with LED/premium/tech packages. It was almost a 5 month wait and I ended up never getting my allocation request accepted, but fortunately I was able to get my dealer to swap for an in-stock vehicle at another local dealership. BR was my second color choice after army green, but I'm very happy with it. The color really pops against any background and I feel slightly more visible to the inattentive drivers out there. Also I've always owned vehicles with metallic paint so part of me was apprehensive about army green as some have said AG swirls/scratches relatively easily. Thanks to Toyota's allocation algorithm, I don't have that problem!

    I bought a set from the same seller for the MGM Taco I had and they matched well. For some reason, I've been hesitant to grab them for my BR because I was worried about the color matching but those look really good. Going to have to order a set.

    I’m really impressed on how well they match. Haven’t gotten them out into the sun to really look but under my led garage lights they match so much I couldn’t tell a difference.

    Looks like I'm about to join the Barcelona Red Metallic club in a few months. I placed a deposit on a Blue Crush Metallic DCSB TRD Sport back in February and heard "not this month" for every month since. Yesterday my dealer informed me he got an allocation for the exact Tacoma I asked for except in BRM instead of BCM; I immediately said "Yes!" The expected manufacture date is last week of August/first week of September and tentative delivery date here in New England is mid-November.

    Question for all you BRM owners: what % tint did you get? Would love to see pictures of different tint levels to help me visualize.

    My new Barcelona Red Off-Road DCLB is supposed to arrive this week at my dealer and I have a tinting appointment scheduled soon. I live in Southern Arizona where it gets super hot, so tint is a top priority.

    Haven’t had a new vehicle and done tinting in over a decade, so seeing what different options look like on your nice shiny red trucks would be a help! Thanks! :thumbsup:
