So, I got my taxes back, I need help deciding what to buy  . Should I go for performance, and get an AFE Stage2 Si Kit and theBanks Monster exhaust kit:headbang:
    -OR-

I could get my lift started with toytec's with some :notsure:? The lift would be fine on my stock wheels/tires, I would adjust the level to be closer to stock until I get my new wheels/tires in a few months when I get more $$$.

    What say you TW Members?!:D

Thanks Chris, probably won't go for the ICONs, even though the GB is a sweet deal, and I'd save another $75 on the UCA's. I can't justify spending that much on the lift, it's a little overkill for what I need, but Icon is a badass company/product.:D

I say...You just walk your pretty little ass over to the "convenience" store and pick yourself up a nice dildo so you can f*** yourself!!! I'm just kidding. I am just bitter because I won't be getting a refund this year lol :(

But in all seriousness, I would suggest a lift. You will get a much better ride (especially offroad) out of your rig. You will also be adding +1000 to your looks once you get wheels and tires. The lift is simply more practical. Take it from me, I have my own built exhaust as well as I have a CAI and my next mod will more than likely be a lift... The gains from Intake/Exhaust (besides the sound) will most likely not be noticeable.

If you do decide to go the "performance" route, shoot me a PM or something. I can almost 100% positively assure you that you don't want a Banks monster exhaust (or anything Banks for that matter). You will have considerable rasp (which many don't mind) and you will also lose considerable low end (3" pipe is great... if you're forced induction). If that is what you want though, by all means disregard what I have said. I am just speaking from what I know/have learned over the last few years. Either way, let us know which route you take and post us some pictures!

Just claim "0" on your taxes, you're almost guaranteed to get somethin' back :thumbsup:Thanks for the heads up on the Banks system. I know I'd be sacrificing some low-end torque with that system, but from what I've seen/heard around the web, it sounds pretty badass. I am a little apprehensive, since they mainly deal with diesels, just like RBP products on bro trucks.I think I will end up going with the Bilstein/Eibach lift from Toytec, and throw some LR UCAs on there, and eventually some meaty tires/wheels.

I think I've figured it out after much scouring TW. I'm gonna get the complete OME lift (885s) w/ Dakar leaf packs and LR UCAs. Metaltech4x4 has on good GB goin' on. Thanks for the input/opinions.

The other way to look at it is "now that I have...I will begin to..."

It's kind of a downward spiral from there. The lift starts getting you places, and you get jealous of the armored guys. Then the armor and lift let you push it further, and you need either more lockers or more winches. Then that happens, and the next thing you know, you're pricing axles.

Honestly, if you don't want to go broke on your truck, get the CAI and exhaust.

My wife understands that, but I wish I could get her to take the plunge and change the withholdings.
I'd rather owe the government a little if it can't be dead zero...let them wonder when they're going to get THEIR money for a change.

I HAVE DECIDED!!! I'm gonna do both, I got a smokin' deal on an OME Complete kit (885's, Dakar Leaf pack, 1/4" top spacer, OME Trim pack), Light Racing UCA's, CB drop from BeefedTaco (if he ever build/ships it, he's a busy guy), and I had enough left over to get the AFE intake and Banks exhaust. I'm hoping to install the lift this weekend (sun./mon), and get it aligned, then install the CAI, Exhaust, and CB drop when it shows up. I'll post an install thread (&pics) for everything. Next will be the MAF calibrator from URD, and some meaty tires (Baja MTZs - 5272). The latter will have to wait a few months though, i hope it doesn't look too bad with the stock tires, but who fuckin' cares!!!:D
