image.jpg Greetings, I really don’t know as much as I should when it comes to leaf packs. I tried my best with the search bar to find information per training something constantly asked but I have not found answers to the questions i am askingI got this set of packs as a gift from a friend that has a camper. He opted for a new set of Dobinson since this pack was not cutting it for the weight he’s moving around. I just want a total rear lift of about 1.5” to 2”. I don’t tow shit and the max amount I load a couple of times a year is less than 600lb.(dirt bike, gear, occupants) I just want to gain some height and have a softer ride and flex. My plan was to put this one but I have a couple of questions.
1- if I install like this, with no overload should I get the lift and flex I am looking for?
2-should I remove leafs?, if so, which one am supposed to remove?

By looking at the paint markings the 2 top leafs are the Toyota oem onesimage.jpg .

Can you ask your buddy how much lift he got? Then you will have a ballpark answer.

I believe he got like 1.5” with the weight on top of the vehicle.

Plan to install some 5100’s and extended brake lines in a couple of months.

The only way you will truly know is to put them in and see. Without knowing a brand, what weight ratings they have and their advertised life numbers nobody will be able to tell you. My guess would be higher than 1.5 closer to 2"

Is it advisable to remove the bottom 2 or 3 leaf’s to achieve the results I’m looking for?(about 1.5” with no overload)

I agree with @Empty_Lord that it looks like a stock pack with an AAL. removing the bottom three leafs would put it back to a stock height pack. I would see if you can get specs and info from your buddy.

Aight, so based on the info and measurements I’ll be removing the 4th leaf and I’ll add to my trd or pack without removing any leafs. I’ll come back with results and measurements on Saturday. Cheers!

I ended up using only the bottom three without overload leaf, and gained around 1.5” on both sides. Put it to the yeast and feels nice and plush. Just what I wanted.
