Gotta pump those numbers. Winnipeg is only one-tenth as murderous as Flint, Michigan, where I spent two nights last week without ammunition reserves.

Been watching this guy for a while and I had been slowly getting into rigging as the concepts applied to what we do. Arborists, high lining, big wall climbers, sailing, and what not all use rope and rig them in certain ways to do certain jobs, we just use a bigger rope ultimately.

so he's been testing everything from carabiners to ropes and now we got something with Amazoom soft shackles vs the good expensive stuff dyneema.

Getting a misfire in the Subaru when launching off the line, feeling almost like a torque converter shudder. Pulled the bank 2 spark plugs and they're in similarly bad shape as the bank 1 plugs I pulled in January. The #2 plug's center iridium electrode is almost completely worn away. The #4 plug's ground electrode tip is about half its original height. These plugs have only 35,000 km (22,000 mi). At least there's no carbon tracking this time. Lesson learned: avoid Denso Iridium TT plugs.

Since the battery has to come out for bank 2 spark plug access, I also replaced the Princess Auto battery with a Walmart one, now the 26R size is back in stock there. The Pro-Point battery didn't do too well last winter.

^Yep, these are in fact advertised for 160k. I surely didn't expect them to fail far short of even the OEM interval (48k). The Denso 3421 iridium "Long Life" plugs worked fine in my 2nd gen for 65k before it got totaled.

Either the Denso TT plugs aren't as good as their Long Life plugs, or the ones I received were counterfeit, as I got them on Amazon from a marketplace seller.

Bought some oil filters a while back from a reseller. I could read the writing on my hands after tightening it up. Never even started it. Went to the dealership & bought a real one tongue lashing myself for trying to cheap out.

^Just have to be mindful of who the seller is. If it says "ships from and sold by Amazon.ca" it's fine.

 best part of the long water crossing is being surprised by that underwater rock with 20yds to go.

its a fun climb up to the top of the Tower Hill lookout. ends up being easier than it looks but fun to do once. try it next time through if you have the time.

I missed the tower hill climb. I did the trail from north to south. I must have got lucky not finding that rock but as I started cautiously getting into the crossing theres a hole the puts some water on the hood. At that point it was commitment time; I got on it and had a massive double bow wave that was higher than the hood. In the wetter season i can see how the rest of the trail would get greasy and fun.

Hey everyone my 2016 Toyota Tacoma is about to roll over 150,000km. I’ve owned it since about 83,000km. The truck has been great! It’s my daily driver and weekend exploring setup, looking forward to many more years with it. Somewhere below 100,000km I installed my 285/70/17s Falken Wildpeaks, SPC upper control arms, Bilstein 6112/5160 lift with icon AAL. Overall for the price I paid for the suspension has been amazing. I always do my recommended scheduled Toyota maintenance and do regular inspections myself. Is there anything I should be doing with this kinda of mileage on the truck? Anything I should inspect for wear?
