After returning from Bend, OR via Umatilla and Kennewick last week, I noticed a large wet spot under the back of the left door and a water drop hanging from the AC drain tube, so I picked up 3' of Gates 5/8 heater hose and a 3/8-7/8 SS hose clamp. Following Slow Moe's post #39 of his 3rd Gen Build thread (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/rust-on-frame-with-a-c-drain-mod-fix.444138/ has more photos), I accomplished the mod with exactly 24" of hose, one clamp and a 5" zip tie securing the hose to a bracket on the inner fender where the hose drops down to exit near the bottom rear corner of the IFS front skid plate. I'll be happier with that water draining on the ground during another long hot drive across Washington later this week to see my first grandson. Last weekend's trip, I could have brought home my first EV from a yard sale.
It was explained that the husband/dad had assembled it (all the parts and instructions were there),"but it never worked right, so somebody should be able to take it apart and get it to work." My SIL wasn't interested when told about it later, and his grandma said he'd not mechanically inclined. Pretty cute for a pink jeep with a wall wart charger... The only mods on that sound like not reading the instructions.

Reminds me of the same tune and theme used for the Sorensen Magnet School fundraiser 26 February 2020, with rewritten lyrics befitting the school's mission. The principal asked me to join the teacher/staff choir to practice and open the event (singing and a little choreography), so this volunteer morning crossing guard got a banquet dinner. Singing for supper... (I think the principal didn't want to be the only male voice in the choir...)

And a shorter chain (or a dent puller to repair the hood after the engine lift).

That's my favorite tune to whistle at work. Might as well be our damn theme song.

The rear bumper is barely an inch off the ground with the stands at that height...

Probably going to whip something up at work from some scrap metal and make a lifting hook I can bolt on somewhere.

Jack stands freak me out in a way, but ya gotta use them. Bought a set of 6 ton for the trucks, and I have a set of 3 ton for shorter vehicles. Doubt I can fit the 6 tons under the Subuwu though

I swear... that audio is ingrained in my memory and I don't like it. Also 6 ton would be extreme overkill for that humpback turtle car.

Luckily had my bedroom window cracked and got woken up by claws on asphault and metal. Pull the backyard blink camera up and theres a god damned fisher cat hanging off the welded mesh of the old coop trying to get the older girls. Couldnt get a shot because he was in front of a few of them so I wung a baseball bat at it whilst screaming. It’ll be back, but havent seen one since I was a kid and most likely the culprit that got the neighbor’s batch. He’ll be back.. i’ll be waiting..

A fisher cat vs baseball bat... with a proper stance you could probably knock it clear over the new coop like the green monster at Fenway!

The elder girls are getting moved into the new coop tonight and the old coop will itself be a giant trap since he wants to get in so badly. Gonna leave the chicken-door open with the hav a hart trap being the entrance and a giant nasty can of cat food on the other side. This aint over. And now im super cranky because it woke me tf up at 0330.
