Gear selector broken

Airtight boys so my shifter broke off. Tried putting it back on but the angle didn't really allow it. Didn't want to break it so I come to you guys for advice. How do i get it back on without damaging anything? Thanks in advance

You're going to need to remove the interior molding and see what's broken. We can't guess what the issue is from a picture of a working shifter.

Without more detail about what your specific issue is, there isn't much else we can do.

Ill post another pic when i get home but this peice came off the screws broke, O/D wires broke. Now there is only the black rod coming up with the spribg to press down to put it in different gear. I tried sliding the brown piece back on with no luck

I am not even sure where to start on that... Like the screw broke (not sure how that happens), and you pulled up hard enough to break the wires too? Might wanna try being a little more gentle on the 'ol gal.

Your options are probably to solder the wires or get that reconnected somehow. Then depending on how the screw broke.. either get the remnants out of the stock and get a new screw in there or if those threads are striped (again not sure what could cause that) then tap them up a size and get a new screw.

Or start looking at junkyards/pick a parts for an entire assembly.

In addition to the metal lever, you would need the pnc 84722 item, but I can't easily find a part number for that.

I don't know what kinda force you have been using to shift that thing with, but take it easier on the next one.
