N-Fab Nerf Bars

can anyone that has them, or has had some experience with them tell me if they are strong enough to use with a Hi-Lift? in case of a flat. Will they support the trucks weight? Thanks!!!

 

they will not.
you will need sliders that are attached to the frame, not bolted to the cab like the nerf bars

 

even if the steps did support the truck(which i doubt) the hangers where they bolt on to will not. you need some pretty strong metal and either be welded or bolted to the frame itself in multiple places to use a hi lift on them

 

thanks.! im indecisive about the avid or all-pro sliders. I just cant spend that much $$$ right now.

 

If you are ever consisting using a hi lift or there will be need for one later on just do it right the first time and get sliders. If you look where the nerf bars would attach you can tell that the brackets won't take the trucks weight

I have N-fabs for mainly looks and as a step but go sliders for jack points, prevent door dings, and off road protection.

 

Are there frame attached sliders that double as steps aswell?

add these steps to any slider. and they bolt off when you go offroading

I think his question was asking if they stick out enough to be used as steps. From what I have read here(not actual expirence) the answer is yes they do stick out enough to be used as steps
