I just used distilled water on a microfiber cloth. Magic. And cheap.

 

+1 for screen protek works great but a little pricey.

Actually I use one of these. When I first saw one, I thought it was silly, until I used my buddy’s, now I keep one in the glovebox, it works awesome on the dash and other interior parts.

Mehh…. not my company. Not my problem.

 

I use a Rag Company Eagle Edgeless microfiber towel. I never wipe. I just lightly dab the towel on the surface then aggressively shake the towel out. Then dab again repeatedly until the bulk of the dust is gone. The static electricity or grabbiness of the towel seems to get most of the dust off.

Not sure if this has been mentioned nor if I am technically reviving an "old" Thread, but a good product that is designed for this exact application is Plexus. Been used in the motorcycle community forever as a great way to, clean, polish, and protect plastic. Use it on my helmets all the time, gave it a whirl on the instrument cluster and it did great, did it polish away all the scratches, no, but it did a hell of a job and looks substantially better.... anyway just another option....

Plexus works to an extent but still doesn’t solve it, it'll still scratch / swirl, only thing that worked for me was having it ceramic coated when new and then swifter duster and compressed air and occasional cleaning post coating.

 

Plexus does work well, I also used it for years on expensive motorcycle helmet windscreens. That said, I still think the key to that little screen is picking up the dust, not wiping it away. Wiping it away is also grinding it in to a very soft piece that scratches easily. This is why I suggested the duster earlier, it picks up more dust, rather than wiping it around and let a compound attach it to a towel.
