About to finally pull the trigger and get the Bilstein 6112s for the front (5100 with icon aal on the back) and just want to make sure I’m doing this right.

getting them from Headstrong Off road. They come assembled at the 4th notch with a 1/4” top hat on the drivers side? Anyone else get this order and how did it turn out?

    TIA

this would be my first front suspension install. I did the rear myself.

3” w/jba’s. LCE header w/intake spacer & hps cai tube
I did 5100 (coil over)all around with aal and I hated the ride, was so stiff. Installed JBA uca’s and the ride improved drastically.
Id def consider spending the extra 500-800 now and getting jba, spc….. some aftermarket uca’s, rides and steers so much better

That is my next purchase, but currently front shocks need to be replaced and the UCAs aren’t in the budget. I think the 6112s are supposed to ride better than the. 5100s with coils which is why I’m going to the 6112s

had em for 4 years/45,000 miles paired with 5160s in the rear, vast improvement over stock i can say that much. I run them on 3rd perch

I have 6112s upfront, 5100s rear with the OEM tsb leaf pack And love the ride. I have them set on 1/1 with a spacer for taco leans. I replaced the aging oem shocks and love it. I got about 1" increase in the front with the new shocks.

I will be replacing my 150k mile UCA next weekend with some from Dirt King.

I just installed 6112 and 5160 on the 3rd gem. love the ride, I got about 2 inches in the front (maxed out ) on the 11/9 clip
for the rear I did the 5160 with a icon add a leaf And kept the overload spring. And got another 2 inches in the rear.

it definitely stiffened up not in a bad way, but feels more planted. Definitely don’t get any nose diving or roll while turning… just feels way more stable. All around, I hated the bounciness of the OEM.

I do think it might be worth extra money to go 5160 and a real leaf pack if you off-road. and definitely UCAs, my stock UCAs would touch the springs

A few paychecks later the UCAs go on
