Tacoma tune

Hello ! Looking to get a tune on my truck but i don’t have acces to a tune garage. Does anybody know a company thats send tune ecu direct to costumer and ill send my ecu back to them. Thank for any advice

 

The tuners can come to you. Tell us what area you're in and we can direct you to a TacomaWorld user who is an authorized tuner.

Saw you are in New Brunswick. We have a tuner in Presque Isle ME which is very close to the NB border, so if you are in that area Brandon may be able to help.

The bench flashing process is changing. Might want to hold off on sending any ECU's off until after we know what's changing. Would suck for this guy to mail it in only to be told it can't be done anymore.

 

Good point.. and i don’t want to wait for a couple day week to get back my ecu…

 

I’ve had the KDMaxx tune for over a year now…actually just got the updated tune last week. I can’t say enough good things about it, it is a massive improvement over the horrific stock tune. I highly, highly recommend KDMax!

 

I read about a couple tune and i think kdmax is the one for me… the stock tune suck… the guy that designed the stock tune shoud loose is job…. Lol

 

@JasonLee is correct. There are several options for tunes out there, all of which are excellent and have had a lot of work go into them. In the end it really comes down to personal preference and convenience in getting it done. They are all just a bit different. You can search KDMax, OTT, and OVTune here and read from people's experiences, then decide which way you want to go.

 

You really want to be impressed, jump into a 2016 and feel how THAT stock tune is.
Your 2022 drives significantly better than that, but I will agree an aftermarket tune is still superior.

 

lol I agree. I know they did it to conform with emissions regulations blah blah blah. But yeah, it’s really horrible if you’re a “driver”. KDMax will fix that and make it fun to drive again.
