I used to when we had cable, but she cancelled cable and with all the different apps on there now I have no clue where it’s at. It was a good show though.

Had a doe and fawn come out at 80 yds 15 minutes before legal light and walk to 35 yds. It's at the edge of my reach, but there was no great shot presented so I let them walk.

This guy was lucky I didn't have any field points, or his day may have taken a turn in the wrong direction. I have a very generous rule about how far a cat can be from a building, and this one was clearly in violation. He got a pass today too. :DIMG_20221006_155636.jpg

Funny, tonight at dinner the wife brings up tonneau covers and how she thinks we should have one on the truck, for road trips. She's either reading my mind or my tacoma world posts.
The Lomax is looking like a dang good option right now. They quoted me a very good price, I'd call it about 14% off advertised price. Still just trying to figure out exactly which finish is which. The diamond is obvious. Which one is flat black or black eurethane is not.

Where was I today @My Name is Rahl ....

That guy was a good half a mile from any building, across a flowing water feature.

Even though it's matte, there's still a bit of gloss to it

I narrowed it down to the Lomax Stance, Bakflip MX4 and Bakflip X4S. Ultimately chose the X4S as it rolls up and doesn't block the rear window on my Tacoma. Only complaints are that it gets very hot in the AZ summer with the metal slat construction and the end caps (curved finish pieces) like to pop off every now and then when rolling up and unrolling the cover. It sits very flush and works for what I need. I bought it from Luke at @truckalter

As far as the Lomax, the urethane finish is more of a textured bedliner, whereas the matte black is smoother.

    41 is correct.

I like the flat matte black or whatever. I just didnt want to get it and have it look gray. I'm ok with it having a little gloss to it.

Like you can see in my second picture, it's about the same black as the tailgate cap.
