Has anyone chalk tested 255 80 17 wildpeaks in e load? Looking to get a baseline until I can get a chance to do mine.

The 255/85/16 fit perfect. The Cooper ST Maxx are pretty quiet on the highway going 65 mph. I have them currently at 35 PSI cold and they aren't really rough on the gravel roads I've been on. Going to the mountains this weekend so see how they handle up there.

How much cutting did you have to do, aside from a CMC? And what's the actual tire diameter under load?

I beat out the pinch weld and beat back the firewall.
    Removed inner fender liner.
Cut fender and fender liners back 2.5”-ish.

Still rub a little at full lock when articulated, so body mount relocate is likely, but the truck drives on the street just fine.

My truck is currently loaded up for a trip to PA and I still showing 34" tall with about 34psi in the tires

I have no fender flares, needed a CMC , I bent over the pinch weld, and I trimmed just a little bit off the fender at the bottom corner
Right now I seem to have enough room but I'll know this weekend after I wheel some.

Skinny 33's here... anyone had an issue rubbing on the frame? Not the bumper, mud flap or cab mount but the frame itself?

    2010 DCLB.
Bilstein TRD Pro suspension (slightly less than 2" total lift)
    TRD "beadlock" wheels (16x7.5 +10)
    255/85R16 Yokohama Geolandar G003 MT's

Rubbing is fairly minor and rubs on both sides. It might get worse if really stuffed, I haven't really had it flexed in a while so these markings aren't too indicative of offroad conditions. You can see the area circled in red (it's also hitting my splash shield but that's less of a concern).

I feel like I haven't seen anyone else with this problem. Which, makes me think it can be dealt with via alignment rather than needing to change wheel offset. I don't want to change wheels and I don't want to run spacers (which I assume would likely increase rubbing issues anyway). If spacers/wheels are the only fix then I'm inclined to just live with the rub.

So I have a pretty similar setup.

    2011 DCSB
    Bilstein TRD Pro suspension
    RRW wheels (17x8.5 +0)
    255/80/r17 Wildpeaks

With my pretty mediocre alignment( drives straight as an arrow but also pulled the tire backwards) I did a CMC and trimming, but did not have any issues with frame rubbing.

Your pictures didnt show up either.

I was rubbing there and on the LCA with -6 offset 285/70/17 (not skinny)
Slapped some 1.5” spacers on now I’m rubbing on the bumper instead.

Is the pic still not showing? You may have seen the post before I edited the photo. (Long story but I posted from my computer but had to add the pic immediately after from my phone.).

Did you have to do a CMC or did you just do it premtively? My tires don't seem to be anywhere near the cab mount, I've got a ton of clearance there. I have basically no clearance at the mud flap though. Mud flap is trimmed a little (previous owner) and also heated and massaged by me after I got these tires.

Your situation is exactly why I don't want to add spacers. I don't want to run a lower offset wheel because I don't like how they look but also I'm pretty sure if I add a spacer then I won't rub at the frame but will instead rub somewhere else. Ideally, I can solve this problem without causing others. Otherwise, I'm inclined to just live with a little bit of rubbing.

    Pics show now.

I took out the front coilover and it slightly rubbed the cab mount with my specific alignment. I think most people would have left it but I had the welder right there so I just did it. For mud flaps I took those off a while ago cause they cause problems offroad but I also hammered the pinchweld, so there would be no way they'd fit
