Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I have installed a few of these most use a PHA8 filter.

Does any know of a relocation kit that can use the Toyota Filters or a means to source the parts to build everything myself.

I just started looking into use of the Toyota Filters.

    Thanks

I had thought some one Ha Ha Ha might have done it and knew some real world numbers.

I have one on the shelf that uses the Fram PH8A.

I was hoping to limit the different filters to Toyota or Ford.

I don't know of an application specific kit for Tacomas but I have an oil filter relocator. The PO installed it, I didn't like the way it was done so I redid it. I use stock size oil filters. Well stock dia & thread size, I'm using D3 filters, in the past I was using OEM size Mobil1 filters.

Pics in the following link, still using the same mounts but no more teflon tape. I don't recommend teflon tape, will start to slowly leak after a few years. Last time replaced the hoses I used Loctite 565 thread sealant, no more leaks. Still need to swap out the worm clamps with spring clamps now that I got some, next hose change is when I'll do that.

Unfortunately I don't remember the P/N I used for the oil filter relocator mount when I got the new one. The one I used is made by Permacool & I got it from Summit. The prev one & the filter adapter were Permacool also. I just choose the configuration I wanted for the location I have it mounted with the stock oil filter thread size. 3/4"-16 IIRC but don't quote me on that.

If you do decide to install one, pick up extra o-orings for the filter adapter (that screws on the stock location) & keep extra hose on hand (be sure to get trans cooler hose). The oring & hoses don't need to be replaced often but of course once they get old & hard you'll want to change them out. And again, don't use teflon tape.

Found some more old pics but doesn't look like there are P/Ns on them. I could of sworn I posted the P/Ns somewhere here for the parts I'm using but my search came up empty.

Looks like PH8A is 3/4"-16. So if you already have one it should work with a Toyota filter.
