Thanks for all the info. I have not weighted them together yet but the trailers max cap is 4000# and Dry is about 3300# There isn't a lot of wiggle room there so we are going to have to pack light which isn't much of an issue for us. We will have our bikes on the back of the trailer and an inflatable kayak with some other slightly heavier things we plan on putting in the rear storage to take a little weight off the front but again we will be very carful how much. My truck is heavy but together they wont be over GCVW.
These trailers are all aluminum frame and chassis and tracks very well. A lot of people don't ever need a WDH with these trailers but some do use them. I think time will tell if I need one or not.

Put in new headlight housings today and ordered new boots for the bulbs, a frog managed to die in my last housings so they needed to be replaced. FD8EAC3A-00F4-4C9B-A71E-68C96F5FFE5D.jpg960DDE46-6E2C-4E5D-802B-E0104B213589.jpgDA2902D0-555C-48D6-BF63-78F02C6054A0.jpg
Also looking for anyone who has installed brackets onto their factory roof rack for a light bar. I ordered a kit (ALAVENTE 42" Curved LED Light Bar Upper Windshield Mounting Brackets Replacement for Toyota Tacoma 2005 - 2015 (w/ Factory Roof Rack Only) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0836Q9B6T) but have no idea how to install it. I may be handy with a wrench but rivets are a whole other story lol.

Changed the ujoints at the transfer case and carrier. They were fine 83993A5C-9EB5-46D8-B17E-32684F029FF3.jpgprobably should have done the carrier too, but oh well

Installed a powertrax no slip locker and did some general maintenance. Really impressed with the locker!

Installed an Offroam cell phone mount and reinstalled the factory power inverter. Had a JL Stealthbox a few years ago and the inverter needed to come out. Getting ready to run Christmas lights in the back this year

Got some Amazon flood lights. $40.

I’m sure the Baja lights are better, but I don’t want to spend $300

I had the $335 BajaDesign fogs in my 2016. Way too bright for city/highway use. They were "the bomb" and worth the money but not practical for non-off road use. Would like to upgrade my 2nd gen but not sure what I would buy. I really like the Toyota black tint ones made for 3rd gens. They were only around $115 but not sure if there is such a thing for 2nd gens.

Maintenance, your truck is stock, no lift, no aftermarket control arms, but the maintenance was done and changing U joints is part of that, along with oil, filters, belts, etc...Sorry MX is an Air Force term..should have spelled it out.

Im just trying to figure out if my ujoints were changed or not. truck only has 66k on it. bought it with 64k. a driveline shop i called said that because i had grease zerks in my ujoints that they have already been replaced.
just trying to verify if that is a true statement
