@Buzzkill657 pretty sure they were greasable from the factory..I think 2wd are the ones that came with no zerks..not 100% positive though, but I do recall my originals having zerks. From the 2013 Owners manual:
Chassis lubrication (4WD models and PreRunner with 2.7L 4-cylinder [2TR-FE] engine only)Propeller shafts Spider Lithium base chassis grease, NLGI No.2, so according to the owners manual, they told us to grease the propeller shaft, so they came as OEM.

Should've guessed that... In my experience the Air Force just likes to fix things only when it breaks!!

There are many variations and iterations of the "lunchbox" locker and manufacturers all have their own take on it.

I'm not too familiar with the Aussie terminology but the powertrax no slip is essentially a "locker". It is the revised version of the basic powertrax "lock right" and should have better on road manners than the original design.

Here is my install from a few years ago. Been very happy with this brake controller

I didn't want to take up a switch slot so I drilled a hole in the dash.

Used double sided tape to secure the module to the inside of the center console in front of the shift knob.

Grabbed a blemished 17x9 -38 and immediately painted the ring bolts black with some steel it. Looks much better imo. Too bad my other 4 wheels are brushed bronze instead of regular bronze oh well it’ll do :)

@Buzzkill657 Changing the Ujoints and Carrier is just a good idea. Cant hurt. Also, if you remove and install your driveline the same as it came out (marking it before you remove it) no need to balance your driveshaft, just throwing away money really. and yeah if you had driveline vibrations, I would think about it, but if you dont, I wouldnt.

Relocated the trailer brake controller the PO had installed on the side of the center console. My knee hit it constantly while driving and I never used this cubby much anyway.

Replaced blower motor resistor, pigtail, and checked it over before winter.

Which one did you buy. Mine is on the verge of going out. With heat or defrost on mine sometimes cuts out when I make a turn so I know it is ready to go out. Read some bad reviews of cheaper resistors.

I’ve tried a bunch and could never find anything I really liked that put it up at eye level. Struggled with reinstalling the HVAC controls when using the Panavise mount. I liked the idea of the Ram mount on the pillar but not crazy on have my phone on my left, couldn’t get used to that. The Offroam was more expensive than I wished but it’s rock solid and exactly where I want it. Couldn’t be happier.

Its getting chilly here so I just called Napa and they had one in stock so I went with it. The wiring on the pigtail appears to be a much larger gauge (is that the weak part?). I would bet its a Dorman part re branded as Napa. TSB 0062-21 has an updated plug (square) and resistor might want to check that out, at least for the part numbers. I would have went that route if I had a Toyota dealer closer.

I removed the rear seat bottoms and bought this platform on Amazon for about $50. It is a supposed to be a pet deck, but I needed something for my kayak gear. It is 24"×48" and fits well. It seems heavy duty and I don't have to worry about getting it wet. It is a gray (looks kind of beige in the pics) and matches my interior well enough. I ordered a rug of the same size to keep things from sliding around.
