Secondary Air Injection System Bypass Kit
@Jbplayer45 There are a few different reasons for this error code. Most likely the pump is not stuck on, more likely the Pressure Sensor is not reading correctly or potential wiring harness issues. There are a couple was do address and provided some resources below. Bypass Kit and kit addons are a cost effective solution to not only address SAIS error codes but prevent future issues. If you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out, DM or give us a call.

Do you know if I buy a bypass kit, will the emissions center pass me?

It depends on what they are looking for. If they just code scan and sniffer test, then you'll be fine. If they visually inspect, they might wonder what that does but I doubt it. In a nutshell, the SAI system just helps to preheat your CATs to get them to peak efficiency faster as well as vent exhaust gases for a short time after you've shut down the motor (depending on year model).

Ok cool, I’ll probably just leave the secondary air pump in there while I do emissions so nothing looks weird to them lol

Hell, the tech doing the inspection, even if it's a visual, if the SAI pump is removed they wont even notice. You'll pull out all the plumbing and install closeout plates over the valves so unless they know what they are looking at, they'll be none the wiser. Thats just a risk you'll have to take. Some people will utilize the space gained from removing the SAI system by installing an Air Compressor or a secondary battery in that location.
