Any good ground is fine for the ground wire, I think it just doesn't want you to tie into an existing ground wire on it's way to ground and instead land the wire on a proper ground point. There's a good ground point behind the drivers side kick panel.

 

or there could be a guy out there willing to un-bolt for a scan to make one with a 3D printer? just an idea man, wish you well searching.

 

Well, it’s Gadget’s design, so I’d feel unethical. I asked him for one, but he wasn’t interested in separating from a kit.

 

The old ones are aluminum, but 4 or 5 years ago he started making them in plastic. Sadly, not a one off item he offers.

 

Hell I run one of the grounds when I need to on a bolt that is used to hold onto the fuse box. One side of it might be plastic, but the bolt itself runs through clean and bare body metal that structurally holds the dash itself.

 

I used an add a fuse inside. Behind the kick panel there are a couple spots you can ground. I used on begin wires near the door behind the kick panel. Tap the switches above for lighting

I suppose I'm glad he's making money. Gotta respect the grind. But lawd people are daft! You can buy a brass barb splicer fitting for $5 at the homo depot. It's all about what someone will pay for I suppose.

Had to rant about this somewhere... Everytime I wander out of this thread I run into things like this.

 

That five dollar part has been on my list for months and I keep forgetting.

Today is the day TodayWasTHeDaY will finally buy this part Hahaha.

I get what your saying about the upcharged fancy versions of cheap parts. The clutch accumulator delete kits were another good example. Bought a five dollar brass brake union at Napa instead of the $50 (or whatever price it was) version someone was hawking on this site.

Magnusun is releasing a TVS2650 for 2nd Gen Tundra! Supposedly Q2 2023. I haven't even finished out my current fit kit and I want this instead lol @JustDSM

Just curious.....are any of you boost junkies at SEMA? If yes, be our eyes and ears for anything thats possibly cool amongst the endless vendors of led bars and hid stuff.

 

the fact that people are asking if that will work for a manual transmission, should tell you how gullible/dumb people are to just buy whatever.

lol ahhhhhhhh. Who knows if they'll upgrade the 2nd gen taco. Speculating they only did an upgraded 2nd gen Tundra to compete more with Harrop

 

Diode Dynamic released their own “elite series” headlights for the f-150 and joop. I sat in for most of the live stream, and they confirmed “if it’s an enthusiast vehicle it’s on our list of future headlights”.
They’re also releasing their rock lights this Friday or sometime soon, as well as laser led pods later this month to compete more with the likes of Baja designs.
I already have their fogs and two 30” bars and love them so I’m looking forward to their new stuff.
