So an updated review on the TRD catback if anyone is interested. It's definitely got some grunt driving around town and on the freeway, but once cruising it mellows back out to almost stock levels. Also, the truck seems to shift better (it doesn't hesitate nearly as much when you stomp on it) and it accelerates better. I'd be willing to bet it's got some extra HP. Overall, I'm very happy with it and I wouldn't want anything louder.

(EDIT: I'm also using a K&N drop in filter in the stock airbox if that makes any difference.)

I haven't decided what to do with the oem catback just yet. There's not much demand for them, so I'll probably stuff it in the garage somewhere for now.

Finally, here's the TRD Pro Shift knob I picked up this morning. I was surprised to see it's made in Japan. :)

I was browsing Reddit the other day when I came across this post and I figured, "Eh. That's a low-cost, low-effort mod; worth a shot." So, I bought these orange reflective strips and these red reflective strips; red faces the rear of the vehicle and orange faces outward to the side. From a safety standpoint, I don't know if these add any value as I have a white truck and the door frame is already pretty apparent. However, for those that have a dark colored truck this mod might be of some value. I did pull one of the strips off and put it in different locations for testing purposes; I'm happy to report that there wasn't any residue left behind. So, if this mod doesn't appeal to you after a while, it should be easy enough to pull off without having to spend an hour removing the adhesive.

The idea behind this mod is that hopefully the door is more apparent if it's dark outside and I have it open while sitting in a parking lot or on the side of the street. Hopefully the reflectivity of the strips catch peoples attention as light moves across them.

I did a similar thing but I used white reflective vinyl so they blend in until light hits them. I think it’s worthwhile addition to the truck, you can never be too protective of your investment!

You have alot of light weight strength built into it. It's so easy to go overboard on something like this, and it ends up being too much. An excellent, light weight alternative to a teardrop or RTT trailer setup (which is what I have). Look forward to your next video.

Painted one of my hotwheels today to match my truck. I still need to paint in the headlights and taillights and black out the bed. Going to order spray color match paint and redo it eventually, but for now brushed on touch up paint worked pretty well.

    few things here and there.
Forgot to take a photo… but did the needle bearing to ECGS bushing swap today.

    Best 60$ I’ve ever spent.

Also, in the event you didn’t know this, you can use promo code “TW” for free shipping. I saw that on another post here, but hey, spreading the good vibes.

I’m only lifted 2” and got the pulsing vibrations. Luckily, that is a thing of the past!

    The list is growing.
I had a similar problem with my rear lift I ended up moving the oem bracket to the spring clamp(s) closer to the front of the springs drilled a hole then used body bolts at the hardware store. Pix coming.

I moved my OEM guide from rear to front leaf clamp bracket thing, using existing bolts n nuts. Now theres no interference between brake cable and leaf spring.
