I did the same thing. Was standing on the running board while washing it, slipped and came down on the mirror, and broke it right off at the mount. The mirror and housing were fine. I JB Welded it till I got a new one. JB Weld worked!!!

Stealership charged $190 for a new painted driver side mirror. I took the 3 screws out from the mount and showed them I only needed the mount. Parts department said they do not sell just the mount, had to buy a whole new mirror.

My wife did same thing with her Sienna, $200 from dealer. I found used one on E-BAY $25. It looks identical to the Tacoma mirror but the Sienna's was heated.

Could you buy the non color matched mirror that's cheaper and mix and match pieces?
