No message about that. I see the odometer a few seconds when I get in then it goes away.
Unfortunately I don’t have a second key fob. I just noticed that I cannot unlock the doors with it now. It doesn’t respond. I’ll try replacing the battery, but that would be quite the coincidence.

I can unlock/lock the doors with my aftermarket remote starter app. I cannot start the truck with it tho.

I’ve used a small 50w soldering iron. Applied heat 1-2 sec on each pins. Just enough to get the wire hot enough. I’m not sure what you mean by repairing a circuit board with the power applied to the board, but it wasn’t powered when I did that. I took the whole fuse box thing out of the truck before soldering it.

I’ll take it appart again and post more closeup shots

@ailll1 - Oh, my misunderstanding. In a reply, you indicated the battery had not been disconnected when performing the work. I guess then you removed the module while the battery was still connected.
Have you tried disconnecting the battery. Waiting a while, reconnecting the module, then reconnecting the battery?

Update: I found a cut wire(red) I don’t know what it’s for but that’s most likely it. I guess the bracket cut it while I was moving the connectors around. It’s pretty sharp.
Going to be fun to fix way back there.

Any idea how to get the pin out without the special tools? Do I need the insert in the C shape hole to unlock the pins? First time I work with this kind of connector

Sounds like a fob issue. I'm not sure if mine is battery or a loose wire. When mine hasn't worked a couple of times now I just smack it against my hand, and it works.

Never mind, I'd look at that cut wire first...

Conceptually you may be able to bridge the connector with a piece of wire, and a tap on the other side, adding a means of disconnecting the two. That looks like a pretty specialized pin removal tool would be needed if going that route.

One thing we can all agree on, disassembling that connector to de pin in a tight space won’t be fun. If going that route, I’d disassemble until space is adequate.

If I understand correctly what you mean, I don't think I can bridge this. It connects directly into the fuse box thing.

Make a small jumper with alligator clips and jump the wire and see if it fixes the issue.

What are we looking at here? Did you find what that red wire is for?

    Just a note
Working on these connectors are the biggest PITA there is.
    The special tool sucks ass.
Ended up making various custom pin releases that would have to be tried and eventually work.
And if you deform that connector plug, it will not lock.

@caribe makaira diagram doesn't look like a red wire to pin 34. Are you sure it's not pin 55?

Junkyard or eBay score might be worth trying. Even if only to practice on depinning.
